think i've found what the problem was!

got a loan box from my mate turns out it's an original, sent my clone to him to repair.

so fired up the new box tried to put a new image on same thing just shows dhcp on the front display wont do a thing.

trying all sorts, but as i said yesterday a new BTinfinity6 hub arrived so i thought i'd set this up as well, things seemed ok but still i couldn't get an ip address on the box, eventually when all else failed i took look at the hub, i use homeplugs i noticed i hadn't done a reset pairing it to the hub "what a dope" paired the homeplug with the one for the DB and it works fine.

so the clone wasn't faulty after just need to activate the homeplug, what a f******g dumbo.

gotta try and contact me mate before he does anything and just tell him to connect directly with an ethernet cable lol

i'm the orginal try evrything.

anyway i have one pal who has a spare 800SE and he's going to lend me that, and got another pal who's an expert on all things or at leaset so he tells me.

so he's taking my box reckons he can change the capacitor and put on the bootloader, and get the box working again.

anyways later today i should be getting a loan box, and hopefully ending this bloody nightmare.

no mate as i say it's a clone so it's got to be the old usb to mini usb method, having problems with optiflasher wont do a thing but to be honest i really don't understand it, tried a different 2.10 sim same thing, now put in a A8P sim and got a "no ca error" so i think thats an improvement lol.

going to try japhar's dreamup a lot easier to understand, the only other thing is as i say it's a clone and had a clone image ATV 6.1 but i'm going to have to try to flash it with an original image.

No boss i know that the box for some strange reason box has no ip.

when i did try manual ip it wouldn't connect, and dhcp just wouldn't assign an ip

thats when i think i tried to reboot without an ip on the box

1: it's not a boot loop it just wont boot

2: cant get an ip so no flash mode

3: clone

received my new BT infinity 6 hub earlier had problems setting it up more or less got it working, but had real problems getting an ip addy on the 800Se clone which i use as a server.

i shut the box down when trying to reboot with an ip now the box won't boot it brings up the ATV first boot screen then that goes off and nothing.

i've tried to reinstall the image but i can't get the box to display an ip address.

anyone any ideas please?

i wonder something like with the "no CA error" and see if i can force an image on.

I'm desperate here guy's please help.

yes router/server problem i'll leave your line active tho it's the least i can do.

on Accion very stable, but i'm afraid thats the lot for the time being got to have a go as setting it up as a server lol

what was the outcome?

but now i've got major major problems the post has just delivered a new BT hub6 so i thought i'd connect it nice new shiny router etc.

been having problems setting it up mostly the server, and getting a recognised ip addy on it, now i'm trying to reboot it and it just wont boot i've tried to reinstall the image but it wont give an ip address to set it up.

so after all this it looks like i'm going to have to use the Solo4K a server, til i get a new box to use as a server, i just don't believe my luck, if i didn't have bad luck i'd have no luck at all.

anyways thanks for your perseverance, and i'll ask again what was the solution?

i get sly.de from a peer @ hop 1 no probs.

signal wise i'd say yes fine 1.25m triax dish, can't get 28.2 now tho next doors tree has grown for the summer:(

on moviestar FTA bbc news, i get 75% SNR which is about across the board for all channels on 19.2

just to add prior to this i had a peer who supplied moviestar @ 1 hop never had probs even when it was Canal+ esp.

sadly he's gone walkabout, hence the reason i need a new peer.

i've been trying changing the hops up/down as it is atm they're set to 1 and that only allows me 1 of 2 cards and that's your other card, i tried changing it to zero that only allows 1 card, setting to 2 removes all cards.

can you pm me your buddies config if you havn't already done so, obviously i'll remove his user/pass and enter mine.

after considering, i can i can get only 1 of 2 cards from you, and that 1 card is not moviestar i'm only getting the card "you" have as local.

dunno what that suggest, but i'm sure that's where the problem lies.

what's a better file path for the log, can't access /dev/null

The title says it just put the latest ATV image on 6.1 running it as a server.

well this is the siutation thus far.....

i have put an ATV image the 6.1 version on the server which is a DB800SE HD clone and managed to get oscam working, this wont enable me to resolve the issue with moviestar but at least i can connect to it with my client box Solo4K but have to use NCAM as oscam will still not connect to the server.

As regards to moviestar i've still been at it all this time tried everything suggested, and masses of other stuff anything and everything changing configs etc.

I still can't clear it.

not to give up tho, still trying.

changed the settings and restarted oscam.

can't connect to anything, showing as zero cards on my server, and error on yours, it's this bloody oscam that's the problem i'm sure.

i'm going to see if i can download the latest version and get that to work.

running oscam 11388 still shows my server as "zero cards", and friend as "error"

i can clear some of the other channels but not from the peers i should be, this is bloody crazy........the only one i'm clearing genuinely is sly.de
