Just noticed you are using the hostname instead of server ip address:

Is 17000 the port you are using for CCcam on the server (check in oscam.conf) ?
No sorry boss it's a typo
the actual device setting is 192.168.1.93,15*** that's the server ip and the cccam port
the friend has just contacted me and yes its cccam protocol

now theres a thing mine is not any longer i've manged to get oscam working on it, didn't think of that, but then again why wouldn't it make any difference with ncam?
i'm just going to ask the friend what protocol he's using, i'm sure the example config he sent me had CCcam.

Is there a kind soul out there that can help canthackit hackit.
I have 2 locals on my server Cyffra and Redlight all my peers have been able to connect to them i'm the only one that can't :-((((( the only way recently that i could connect was if i run CCcam on the server now that no longer works, and now or should i say for some time now i can't connect to the server with oscam it just shows as zero cards avaliable, the only way i can connect to my server is with ncam.
But that also throws up a problem in as much that a few days ago one of our numbers has very kindly offered me a share with moviestar, but I can't clear that with any emu my box is a Solo4K so there's only 2 reasonbale options avaliable oscam or ncam and it wont clear with either, we've tried everything imaginable and i just can't clear moviestar.
Oh yeah forgot to mention the friend has another share for BT sport as a test i we tried that, and it clears perfectly ok.

Ooooops yes sorry, of course ATV image.
open your ftp program.
go to /usr/bin and locate the CCcam binary and depending on your program there should be and option to chmod or set the attributes to 755 it might be right mousing the file.
and then do the same to /etc/CCcam.cfg

atm the only things i can think of are the bloody obvious.
Attributes are all set to 755.
And this pains me to ask you, your not trying to clear sly.uk.
You are trying across multisat.
The only other thing is try uninstalling CCcam 2.3.0 and install it from a different source.

forget the above statement the only reason it connected to the server was because I had changed the emu to CCcam on the server.
But I have just got it working, I've been installing different images, none made any difference, so put the the Boss's modded ATV 6.0 back on and run NCAM bloody thing recognised the server and connected to the cards straight away...............very strange, but it's as near as to oscam so I'll leave it running.
The only difference was I used the preinstalled ncam.conf and only changed the webif user/pass left every thing else as is.

why wont cccam work on any of these images

No mate just tried the CYFRA config.
Same outcome peers can connect I cant.
