A solution at last! I thought I would share in case it helps somebody else. Basically I gave up on Filmon in TSmedia and looked to KodiDirect. Following the latest update 20150311 KodiDirect now has tvplayer, ITV, and BBCi player. These all work on my Cloud ibox2 plus running Vix. tvplayer has working BBC and ITV offering with far better picture quality than the low Filmon quality. BBCi player is exceptional quality, but curiously the live TV is not live it is 2 hour delayed, but good if you want something you missed earlier lol. Just go to KodiDirect , Get more... , Live TV and TV shows, and there are all there as long as you have updated. :thumb:

Will any WiFi adapter work? I have tp-link tl-wn823n 300Mps adapter but my Mag250 will not recognise it?

Having problems with new Mag254 when doing software update I get status wrong signature? The log says Updating to version 218 05/12/14 it says my current version is 0 (invalid date)? My software URL is mag.informir.com.ua/254/r2/imageupdate Any ideas anyone?

Thanks although I still don't understand , sorry. How does my box claim to be a vu+ solo or duo? It only claims to be a cloud ibox2. Why do you say it claims to be something else? As for crash logs, nothing crashes, I get no errors. The only problems I get with FTV is if I click the icon nothing whatsoever happens. As for Filmon very much the same although it launches it add-on but when I click the channel it says please wait then nothing, no error, just returns to the message click to list channel. Rolling back to earlier version of TS media Filmon works fine unless you change from default medium setting to high, then it cuts out after about 5 minutes and changes channel. This is a common fault as I have researched it but never actually found a solution. I will look for logs but if I don't get errors will I find them and where?

yes filmon works for me on tsmedia 7.98 mate , im using blackhole 2.1.0.1 on a vu+solo . im not using a cloud box like you , while a cloud is a clone solo its a non ferrari clone , so in that sense the boxes are different . and so because of that the may function differently tsmedia wise .

if you change images before you do so please ensure the image/s you wish to try are safe for your box , that is safe and clone safe , or you could end up with a door stop . im sure you will find suitable images here on this forum , but if you are not sure if an image is safe to use check with an experienced member first .

Thank you for your post it is most helpful. One thing you say puzzles me a little though? When I bought my box I was looking for an inexpensive box primarily to get sly satellite but with the possibility of some IPTV like filmon. Cloud ibox2 appeared to top the poll from other users but all the warnings were to make sure it is not a clone, as you will have issues with certain images if it is. I took all precautions following advice by checking the board to establish it is not a clone therefore all images should be safe. Now you say icloud is a clone anayway so all I was doing was making sure it was not a clone of a clone then? And all images are not safe even though it is not a clone of a clone? Sorry but a little confused now.

but its a good thing i feel to have people posting about any issues that might have arisen , as all this info often helps mfaraj to find and fix these problems , and that benifits everyone who uses this excellent plugin . yes i can understand that some times your favourite tsmedia plugin may have a problem and i know that can be a bit frustrating , for example i currently dont have 1 channel working on tsmedia 7.98 , but im sure that will be fixed soon . as mfaraj says tho we have alternatives like movie 25 while we wait for a fix .

Thanks some good points there. I will explore some other images and check out the posts to see what others think is best image for tsmedia on cloud ibox2. I was recommended vix so that's what I use but no idea really if the guy who recommended had tried anything else tbh. Can I ask though does Filmon still work for you since you went to 7.98? As I said previously my Filmon works on 7.91 it only stopped when I updated and works again since I rolled back. As for the channel changing it only does that if I change the default res to high, stick with medium and no problem.

There was not much more I could say about Filmon than "it don't work" there was no error log, I got no error, it just don't work. I click on the add-on and it loads the addon then i get to see the channel information but click on any channel and you get the working logo but when that stops it just give the message again to click on the channel again. No channel will play. That was the way when I upgraded to 7.9.6 so I upgraded again to 7.9.8 and it still didn't work. So I rolled back to 7.9.1 and it works again. Rather than posting short provocative statements like "it don't work is no help at all" if you was a bit friendlier in your communication you may encourage more information coming forward. Just a thought.

I understand the frustrations of devolping something like this and providing for free only to read negative remarks. I developed a project myself which I was proud of and only heard the remarks relating to things that did not work how the user wanted, often the fault of the user. Having read your post I am more aware of what TS media is about and will certainly remember what you have said when posting or replying to posts in future. I am new to this forum having only recently bought a box primarily for satellite feeds but TS media was a factor in the box I bought as I wanted UK freeview tv in Spain. I realise that most who use tsmedia are more interested in movie addons of which there are numerous and as you say if one don't work try another. What you want is probably there it is just a matter of finding what works best for you. With regard freeview tv addons I am struggling to find what I want. I saw FTV available but clicking it launched nothing. FTV is the best tv add-on on XBMC and I was hoping it would work. The only uk tv add-on that did work was Filmon but then stopped after the last two updates so I have gone back to 7.91 for a working tv add-on. Filmon has an issue for me if I try to view at high res it cuts out after a few minutes. It works in medium res which is what I expected as I only have a free account, but others in this forum suggest it does work on high with free account? Maybe I need to change something in my settings but I have tried everything I currently know. Anyway keep up the good work TS media is a brilliant concept.

I still think that it must be something to do with not having a paid Filmon account as you only get high res on paid account. Not sure how others are saying they have no problems unless they are watching in lower res. On my box the default is medium and it works fine on that but I really wanted to get better quality like that offered on XBMC by FTV. Not paying £10 a month to Filmon for it though!

Thanks. I think I may have done that, not sure exactly what I did now. Filmon definitely did not work on 7.96 & 7.98 but after deleting the plugin and installing 7.91 from TS panel Filmon was back. The first run it was on bbc1 then after a few minutes it changed channel. I tried it again on different channel and same thing happened but after another reboot it appeared OK but need to check again later. On high res Filmon is good but on medium I don't like it.

Still the same Filmon issue. If res set to high I get 4 minutes then it cuts off and loads next channel. Have to set the res to medium and it works but very poor quality :-(

I installed and Filmon don't work so took it off and went back to 7.91

OK I worked out how to remove 7.98 but every version I try to install fails so now I have nothing doh!

Done it! Got 7.91 back and Filmon working :-) Why do they release these updates if it just f***s everything up!

Still does this damn channel changing if I have my settings on high though. I have filmon account and have my details in box but only free account so assumed that's why so confused by other comments saying it works on high?

I am using vix. It was working until I did tsmedia software update to 7.96 I have just seen another post on here saying he had to go back to 7.91 but I have not worked out how to go back yet, do you know?

The latest: I have checked that my filmon username and password is correct in etc/tsmedia/ tsmedia_login and it is. I have updated ts media to 7.98. Although FTV is listed in nettv the logo has disappeared which led me to believe it would not work, and it don't, clicking it gives no response. Clicking filmon opens the add-on to show all the categories. Click uk-live-tv I see all the channels, click any channel it says please wait, then says press OK to list item? Press OK it does the same thing again. Expat tv loads the add-on, click categories and I get add-on error, no returned data. Click notflmon and it does not load the add-on it start to then just says add-on error, no returned data. Aghhhhhhhhh!!!

It is my mistake to presume your isp without checking first.
Filmon is working perfectly for me on high.

OK sorry I was a bit touchy, had a bad day. If I could just get Filmon to work on this box it would do, I mostly use it for *** satellite its just occasionally I want BBC without having to juggle boxes.

Hi buddy Filmon does not work perfectly as I said, it worked before the latest update, but not now. It is nothing to do with the password or registering as I have done that. I did do a search on this website with keywords FILMON AND FTV before I posted but did not find an answer to my problem on FTV I did see the reply about Filmon changing channels. I am not with Telefonica and the poor quality has nothing to do with "my end", it is the extremely low 500kbps streaming you get from Filmon. This is why I wanted FTV, which is much better. There is nothing wrong with a cloud ibox 2, check with other owners and they will agree. Its primary function is for satellite for which it works perfectly, unfortunately tsmedia is not providing FTV and I am rather disappointed with tsmedia in general. I have XBMC on another box if necessary. XBMC is far superior to tsmedia. If I wanted a different box I would not need to save up ok :-) If you do not know the answer to my problem with FTV then no problem but why post such a patronising reply?

I have tsmedia on cloud ibox2. If I click on FTV in net tv nothing happens. In fact the only working live tv was Filmon but that only worked for a few minutes then stopped. I discovered if I changed filmon settings to medium it worked although very poor quality. I updated tsmedia to 7.96 hoping this would resolve issues but now even filmon does not work, it loads channels but clicking on channel does nothing. FTV stills does nothing and this is really what I wanted as I am in Spain and can't get the UK freeview channels via satellite. I am using smartdns in router in case this is relevant. Any ideas? Or do these plugins just not work.
