    Ok my current setup is :

    1m Motorized Dish with a Technomate Quad LNB
    RG6 Cable
    2 ports of the LNB going into the back of my VU+ Duo2 and a Dual Cable Tuner.

    Now i know i can use the cable tuner in the 4K so that's great.

    So the wife like to record a lot of soaps ect so with the auto-timer 3 min startup and 5 min over run this limits me to recording/Viewing 2 Sat channels at once and as i have now idea how to setup the duo2 to fall back and use the cable tuners when both sat tuners are busy (is it even possible) so i have started looking at the 4K as my possible solution as it says you can record/view up-to 8 channels at the same time with the FBC tuner installed.

    From if i understand what everyone is saying then

    1) With my existing cabling and LNB the 4K will still only be able to Record/view 2 Satellite channels at the same time ? :confuse:

    2) If i change the LNB for a Unicable LNB the box would then be able to record/view 8 satellite channels at the same time ? :clap:

    I Can not find anything about fitting a unicable LNB onto a Motorized system so is it possible to as 99% of the time my dish is pointed to 28E but occasionally i like to have a scan around the other satellites so if i fitted the unicable LNB and decided to move the dish and watch something on say 13E would the system automatically be able to record/view 8 channels on 13E and then when i move the dish back to 28E go back to 8 channels on 28E. What im trying to say i suppose is whatever satellite it is pointed at at the time is the satellite that all 8 tuners will automatically be configured for????

    To Sum up if what i have said above IS correct then to get all that i have mentioned above all i would need to buy is the VU+ 4K and a unicable LNB ???

    Also

    1) Would i still need a switch or is that only if i want to run a second box???
    2) What Unicable LNB do i need for the 8 channels as im finding them very hard to find here in the UK?

    Hi guys managed to get my Ambilight (lightbox) up and running on my Duo2 After having to make my own config file as couldn't get the boblight plugin config creator to make one that worked but i just have the problem that yellows are coming up extremely green

    If i go into Live RGB Adjust nothing makes any difference

    If i go in to moodlight settings i can get a yellow but i have to have the settings as follows

    R: 255
    G: 185
    B: 0

    Yet a yellow should be

    R:255
    G:255
    B:0

    have tried messing about with the Gamma and the Adjust in the config for the Green but it does not seem to make any difference

    Has anyone got any ideas how i can lower the green value???

    Hi guys ive got cccam working fine for me but prefer mgcamd as i find it clears faster with less breakup.

    Now on my cccam i can get it to ignore a provider on all line for a provider by adding { 0:0:3, 963:0 } to the end of the cline i dont want it to use for that provider but i cant figure out how when i had these lines to my mgcamd's cccamd.list how to stop mgcamd using the clines from opening the provider when i only want it to use the nlines in the newcamd.list for that provider and the clines for all other providers.

    Ive tried messing about with oscam but found it was a lot slower and i was getting really bad breakups on some providers as the ecm was almost double what it is in mgcam or cccam.

    Has anyone got any help on settiing up either mgcamd to only use the nline and ignore the clines on a certain provider

    Or know how to setup oscam to use mgcamd for one provider and use clines for everything else without it going really slow.

    Oscam.server file looks like this:

    [reader]
    label = cccamline1
    protocol = cccam
    device = server.ddns.me,24555
    user = ******
    password = pw
    inactivitytimeout = 30
    group = 1
    cccversion = 2.1.3
    ccckeepalive = 1
    cccreshare = 2
    services = !block_skyuk

    [reader]
    label = nlineline
    protocol = newcamd
    device = server.ddns.net,48723
    key = 0102030405060708091011121314
    user = user******
    password = ***pw
    caid = 0963
    group = 8

    Hi Guys if i add this

    Make an oscam.services file and insert this:

    Code
    [block_skyuk]
    caid = 0963

    and then

    Add this to the c lines/readers in oscam.server:

    Code
    services = !block_skyuk

    to all the cline in the oscam.server file but leave that code off the nline thats in the oscam.server file even after a full reboot it wont clear any 0963 channels even though ive not added it to the nline.

    Am i doing something wrong having the nline in the oscam.server file???

    Hi i have a cline and nline working fine in mgcamd but is it possible to make mgcamd ignore the cline for a certain provider and just use the nline for that provider or even prioratise the nline over the cline
