Well my entitlements were updating fine using mgcamd up until a few days ago, at the moment mgcamd is clearing on my dm800hd but entitlements are not updating, anyone else having this issue?

I think this is related to Oscam version, mgcamd updates fine on oscam 6xxx and on latest 9xxx no emms are received.

Can somebody please help me with this? On my mbo i don't have serial port and it would be great if I could fix this without recompiling kernel.

    Thanks

EDIT: I found the solution in debina module "ftdi_sio" was not loaded or built into kernel.

Hi, I'm trying to get smargo readers to work but under debian I don't have /dev/ttyUSBx devices.

    This is my lsusb output:

Bus 001 Device 004: ID 0403:6001 Future Technology Devices International, Ltd FT232 USB-Serial (UART) IC
Bus 001 Device 005: ID 0403:6001 Future Technology Devices International, Ltd FT232 USB-Serial (UART) IC
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 0403:6001 Future Technology Devices International, Ltd FT232 USB-Serial (UART) IC
    Bus 001 Device 006: ID 05e3:0608 Genesys Logic, Inc. USB-2.0 4-Port HUB
    Bus 001 Device 002: ID 05e3:0608 Genesys Logic, Inc. USB-2.0 4-Port HUB
    Bus 001 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
    Bus 002 Device 001: ID 0000:0000

When I plugin USB hub in dmesg I get this:

usb 1-1: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 7
usb 1-1: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
    hub 1-1:1.0: USB hub found

usb 1-1.4: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
    hub 1-1.4:1.0: USB hub found

So my question is how to make /dev/ttyUSB0
