Kodi launcher is only available for vuplus solo se, solo2, duo2 & solo4k. KodiDirect is your only option, its not the same thing, but at least you get to use some kodi addons..

I just tuned it in here in Tyrone near Cookstown with a 1.2 Chanel master, got 172 channels and SNR 77 and AGC 91
Need to find out how to use keys.

Why are they producing so many boxes,it's a great box but beginning to to rip people off.

installed the 012 flash on the solo2 last night via image manager.
I will try this image you sent me and get back to you.

Right I've now tried 5 USB drives and still the same outcome although once it went as far as not
downloading rootfs it just stopped doing anything. When I open the vu plus folder there are 5 folders
and one zipped folder which is the rootfs.tar, does that seem right.

Hi folks sorry for starting another thread on this but couldn't find the old one. On the solo2 4k with vix image I
have been trying to install a new image without success and now the box wont boot up at all,i downloaded the
latest image vix 012 and put it on a usb stick formatted to fat 32 and followed the guide on how to flash. Can
someone tell me how many files should be in the Vuplus folder, I have 5 is that correct? I insert the stick at the
front and switch on from the rear andwait but no prompt to press the button on the front instead the box will
try to boot and I get the message receiver encountered a software problem, any help appreciated thanks.

I just can't understand what the pencil lead does to improve contact. I have
been opening remotes for years now and cleaning the pcb with isopropyl alcohol
to fix this problem,maybe someone can explain please.

Thanks artorius should have said it was the vix image, I had the USB stick formatted to FAT32
and no other devices were connected. I will keep trying.

Hi folks, the last image on my solo 4K is 4.0.003 and when I try to update to a newer one useing a usb
it tells me no readable files found and if I try by way of image manager I get the message Sorry this machine is not supported yet. Today there is the latest image 4.1.011 sub zip.

Haven't got time to try it yet and I quite like the play and the core as well.
I have used a few android boxes and find the Wetek to be the best.

Just a quick word about the fantastic service I got from the board sponcers, ordered
the Wetek core 4K yesterday and was holding it 24 hours later, beat that.

I installed this addon and after installing from zip file it says dependencies not met,I've seen a video
what to do but can't find it now.Help please.

Lammy1961 I got the Netgear N600 wireless dual band gigabit router, model WNDR3700v4
but there is a v5 out now.

I had the HH5 and changed to a netgear duo band and I've had no problems
since with buffering and dropouts.

I also have infinity fibre optic option 2

To be honest with you I don't know how, I couldn't get my laptop to see the micro card so I kept rebooting the box while
holding the pin in the bottom and tried various options from the resulting menu and it just sprung into life thank goodness.

Right folks got the Wetek play up and running again without having to run recovery
although I've lost all addons but that isn't much bother, happy chappy.

1999 I have used this method before shortly after the play came out and again
I have it printed out but forgot about it until your last post so will have a go
tomorrow, thanks again.

1999gtv I've had no luck yet with the Wetek play and I have switched over to the core.
I just can't make any headway with the play but will have another go at it sometime.
