you can use the "Backup & Image Manager" to full backup the image or the settings :) . About alternatives , unfortunately i dont have the time to search and try , Maybe another member can give a suggestion .
Well ! I don't have .py files to start from !
IF you need anything you can always ask , but in general the py files are the ones from the blackhole git (github.com/blackhole/enigma2), its all public :)

Multiboot selector ... still not working !!!
- /data is mounted
- bootconfig.txt is there
- just the variable "default" must be changed from
0 to partition index (o-3) selected as destination
honestly multiboot wasn't a priority as I'm using direct boot. If anyone is willing to sort out the code and send it I can include it, but I'm pretty busy with other stuff at the moment :(. Any help is much appreciated :)

Deleting the pyc file didn't help.
Now StartEnigma.py crashes

Hi i have notice the same thing , when i install the image ,but i thought it is something from my side as i was more concentrate on other things . Re another plugin , i dont know really .Im working on dm920 now ( quite some issues) , so i will see if there same issue exist or not , and maybe i will come up with another update if it is something from my side or from openbh.

Hi, every attempt to restart the device causes the E2 to restart.nLog attached.
CI+ initialization does not work.
CEC working fine ;)

hi i found out why have no sounds on my iptv channel reason was installing plugins of xc-forever plugin also e2iplayer plugin these two plugins conflict with service app and no sounds
thats interesting . Awhile ago i have installed the e2iplayer plugin , but cant remember for the output. When i have chance i will try to simulate to see where can be the issue , but no promises :( too many request pending :(
If you are using the latest image 5.4.1.008.001 , there are no settings , which needs to be done , just upload the iptv list and thats it.

Thanks Myshel for the feedback. Unfortunately I dont have an LG tv for testing ;( . Does it the same with other images ? like openatv /pure2/openpli ? or only doesnt work with openbh images ?
My tv LG didn't work with any image (DreamOS, Open image).
For me HDMICEC in DreamOS (NewNigma2) is working with LG TV with or without DENON AVR.

I haven't checked anything other than OpenBH but I don't think any other non-DreamOS image has working HDMICEC for DreamTwo.
I will be happy to help you with the tests as much as I can.

on 2 satelites im watching and on both i have audio , so looks like the issue is somewhre with your setup.
