i had a bit of the same problem saving epg and picons to the hdd so i got a usb stick formated it on my pc in fat32 then put it in duo and did the usal stuff and all good now,when saveing to the hdd you have to wait for it to come out of sleep mode or what ever its called and also duo runs alot quiter to.

might soud silly but have you got softcams installed on you box because you still need cccam 2.1.3 - 2.3.0 and you need to create a cline for your box from your pc server to connect to your pc server. sorry if you have done this

i have got a linksy cisco router connected to superhub in modem mode and as been bang on i have a d-link which i got VM but did my head in for wireless keep dropping out and im not a lover of netgear . good luck mate your in the right place for help and support.

wifi can make break up if some one is running a micrwave ect it interferes with it , its always better to hard wire to the router and have faster internet is better for up and downstream ect if you live in same house use ethernet home plugs they work ok .

first there is a thread on here on how to tell if you have a clone duo this needs to be done first!!
if its not a clone you wont do any harm by starting over reflash the bootlaoder - here http://linuxsat-support.com/vu…69-duo-cfe-rev-3-0-a.html

this way you know you have covered everything you dont have to do the setup just let it boot up to the setup wizard then start again with the latest image the one you wont.

even in a backup image you still have to setup your tuners ect there is loads of posts and threads on here to help you !!
it sounds like your doing some thing when flashing do this mate
take any usb sticks out the duo front and back
take card out front if have one
unplug ethernet cable
right format usb stick in fat or fat32

unzip to the formated usb stick
turn duo off at the back
put the usb stick with the image on it in the usb on front of the duo now flick the switch back on at the back of the duo and let it do its thing till the message comes on the front screen on the duo saying remove usb and reboot what i do is power off the duo then i remove the usb stick then i turn the duo back on and wait till it boots up then do all the setting up.

ye mate runs like a dream had no problems with it at all since i did it i hade to do my dads to his kept rebooting its self and loging off and he as had no problems since i put his in to modem mode.

when i flash my duo i unplug the ethernet , usb stick and take card out so the box is not trying to do something when flashing ect and try flashing a origanel image not a back up and also back track what you have done bacause most of the time its somrthing that you have done.

hi mate the superhub is crap and unstable i have one i cancled all router functions on it and just running it as modem mode only and got my own router and never have any more problems like it just stops portforwarding , loging wireless divices off and it runs very laggy and they changed it 4 times all the same there is loads over net about these hubs.

you must give to receve in this hobby thats what its all about most ppl on here are hobbists and always buy and play about with things there are alot of ppl out there think they can just buy a box and thats it get free channels ect but its not so simple as that you have got a linux box do reading like i said and play about if you dont you will never learn about this hobby.

BH is aimed at vu+ i was on 1.7.5 it was ok but felt like a change on my duo and vix as a good built in epg and when i go on a different satalite with in a couple of minutes epg as loaded up. and im sure you can put a satalite on BH for which epg you want !!
