Because I don't understand it fully. I imagined a quad lnb as lnb1,lnb2 etc. But what you've told me is that it's just one lnb.
Got it. BTW, things seemed to work OK with my setup. I've changed it now to your recommend. Thanks. See how it goes.

    Good afternoon,
    My setup.
Quad LNB on single, motorized dish, USALS. TM-Nano 2 Super, twin tuner, built-in HDD.
    Four separate cables A, B, C and D feeding 3 stbs.
Cable A controls the motor and feeds tuner A. Cable B feeds tuner B (TM-Nano).
Cables C and D feed other boxes (not relevant here).
I realise that all feeds, at any one sat position, will share the same satellite. This is OK with me.
My question. How do I best configure tuners A and B for best viewing and recording capability?
    My options are:
    1.nothing, 2.simple, 3.equal to, 4.advanced
ATM, tuner A (advanced mode) on LNB1, disecq 1.2. Tuner B (also advanced) on LNB2, but no disecq.
    Thanks.

    Good morning,
Having just recently been introduced to the latest range of Linux receivers (mine is Vu+ Zero with BH 2.1.5 image), I am (very slowly) trying to understand the subject and wanting to explore the potential that these units are capable of.
I read a lot about CCcam and sharing and am making efforts to be able to perhaps view some European channels on 13e/19e.
After many hours trying to figure out how to get started with CCcam, I eventually got it installed into the box and set as default cam. The CCcam.cfg file has been created (image attached), I'm aware that additional lines need to be added but I haven't reached that part of the learning curve yet.
The attached image shows the .cfg file with my comments to which I would welcome your comments. I would feel more assured if you experts out there can advise/confirm the contents are correct or need editing. I particularly would like comments regarding the password as I use a blank password to access the STB.
Thanks for taking the time to look at this.

    Good afternoon,
Yes, all was going well until a change in the host name. I went on holiday and switched off my Devolo mains units. When I switched on again, I had a different host name.
Using FTP protocol, user name "root" and a blank password, I get "access denied" with Win SCP.
With DreamboxEdit, the IP test is OK but the name/password test fails.
At the STB, network test is all green ticked.
The image is BH, latest version.
    Any ideas?

Sorry guys - I'm stupid. Rebooted the STB and all is OK again.

    Good morning,
Not long joined this forum and with little Linux knowledge.
Reading through the various postings, I've noticed that access to the STB file structure is sometimes desirable/necessary.
How do I link my Zero box to my PC?
I'm using Devolo units at home. The PC, laptop, TV and STB are all connected to the internet.
    Thanks.

My new box is being researched as I write.
Various images are being talked about. I'm tempted, but meantime, I've not installed anything.
The unit works as it's come out of the box. I'll leave it like this until I better understand how it works.
I've got the channels downloaded and all appears to be working well.
The network test is all green-ticked.
My query now is how to get certain channels into favourites?
When I press the blue button, there is nothing listed.
    Help appreciated.
    Thanks.

When I log in, the characters are black on black background.
Consequently, errors are made and I can't log in.
For instance, the title for this post is barely visible because the characters are black/black.
Is there any way to make it clearer for myself?
    Thanks.
