It`s not a freeview channel on satellite Rik, you will need a basic subscription..
That clears that one up then,

i cant get saorsat here at my location
Although my mate gets it just 17 miles west .
I have performed many test on various dish sizes from 60cm to 1.2 so far - using a triax KA LNB of course.
Yes i do have it at the moment via share but ideally i would like to be independent.
Thanks

i concur with Nano completely ...
This is what i'd try if i were you and didn't have a meter or ladder fetish :62:.
Select Thor 0.8w and tune to BBC world news. Wait for dish to move into position ,
You wont have a signal as you described already - From this position you can change your East/West Longitude settings to try and tweak the dish onto the arc. Use Zap back to previous setting and check the signal display until (if your lucky) you find the signal and peak it.
It could be the recent high winds have blown it off arc ?
Yes its will be the same port around the house hilly ¬ 12000 is the default setting for CCcam - You can change it if you use WAN for security.
No is put at the end of line to control whether you want to receive Emus from the client -
You dont need it there. The default setting is no i think anyhow.
Have a read about and search for the plugin files _
Once you find them open and check install details.
Probably you need to FTP them to the correct directory and install via telnet.
I do not use DM800 but most enigma2 boxes use this method.
Perhaps someone else can be more specific with exact instructions, though i'm sure all you need is on the forum somewhere.
Rik
i think hdmi is suitable for 4k ? provided you are receiving a 4k transmission !
i saw tests last year -
Cant say if you need a 4k capable box though - when i tuned to 4k test on 9e it only produced 1/4 of the picture on a full hd tv ?
you just need to input long and latitude for your location into the dm800,
Then install catseye setting and choose thor + BBc worldnews ! Now line the dish up to thor and check if you get picture ! Peak signal and tighten up.
Now try a astra 2 channel and if you did it right bingo your on !
Small movements and half increment spanner turns = Patience mate and you'll get there !
Thor is 1 degree right of south !
Rik
Yes this is an amazing set-up _ not to mention time investment ! It probably took ages to get the LNB's correctly positioned = Much patience and small movements ! Very rewarding.

I've got TS panel installed but can't find a plugin within ts panel for ondemand
Oki doki -
I use the vix image and that has a great plugin section -
Or why not consider one of the Mod Back-up images __ Many come with most addons already installed:taxman: !
is it available through TS panel plugin ?
TS panel is worth looking at if you didn't use it already _
Check this thread _http://linuxsat-support.com/showthread.php?t=9717
Good luck :rikjaard1:
I tested the ultra hd on 10 east when it was located their for testing and it looked very good..4 split screens mind you but even with my tv you could see a difference but the sound quality was what i really noticed tbh.

i was lucky enough to have tested 9e with an early samsung 65inch ultra HD _

Is it legal to have euro premier league games in the UK?
Yes provided your not showing them publicly like in a pub or hotel. @ home you are fine as long as the provider doesn't find out as it will usually breach there contract and switch your card entitlements off.

Always handy to have a fixed feed coming from 28e straight into your box.
Whilst you are watching football on a foreign satellite the fixed mini dish can be used to feed second tuner to record BBC for example !
