At the moment i cant test
like Knippy says many cards come pre activated or can activate on wake up in a receiver !
However i would suggest its good practice to ask the vendor of any card you are buying if its pre activated as some cards require activation in original CAMs' -
do you have save emm in server cfg for oscam ! Also up to date whitelist should be in use !
Why don't u go onto eBay.ie and buy a white viewing card?
Because you will need to know the Name and address where the Card is registered to !
is it waking up to download epg data ?
recordings or open epg data - As usual Musogeek is ALL over the possible problems ! Be sure to go through all relevant menus to check what has been suggested.

check your network interfaces file through etc/network/interfaces -
should have the below text for correct setting.

you need an original 5ky hd box or standard for non hd subscription _ This is required because Your provider wont activate your card outside of an Official ND5 cam and that is only licensed for use in an original box.
When that is done - you will need to put the box id in your oscam or cccam cfg to make your server work.
do you need osacm dvbapi running ?
ENsure ecm whitelist is up to date too.
you will need to call the provider to order a card mate !
you will only need 1 card -
so call setanta and take out a subscription - they will send a card.
Get that card activated then call Boxnation who will add there package to your card -
your problem will be Irish variations as you'll need to be a resident or have a postal address in ROI.
However with an active setanta and boxnation card being shared from a server you will most likely find a peer in ireland with who'm you can set up a share . Then he can watch your card and vice versa -

I do not understand what to edit in opensc.conf from the text below
And change thise lines by removing # from front and reader_drivers lines u delete one comand too:

find opensc.conf file in your Linux Pc server -
for me i use ssh from another machine or you can use putty !
Not certian but you probably can alter the file by ftp program like winscp aswell.
Open the file and read through it Line by Line -
You will soon find the script which is mentioned- You will notice it is slightly different to the example you have.
Edit the individual lines to exactly how they're posted in the example not forgetting the ; at the end of each line.
Save and exit - Reboot your receiver and amend your oscam configs reader section and your omnikey should now be recognised.

into browser you need to type the ip or dns of the server followed by the port number which web interface is set to ¬
for example default CCcam web info is 16001 -

Then you put this card in your box !
Using the internet you can connect many boxes together and "share" 1 card to view tv cheaply _
Thats why you need a subscription _
OR you need to know someone who already paid 5ky for a card and is sharing it to other people using Dreambox 500 .
Then you may be able to connect to that person and use your box to watch 5ky tv throug his card ?

amiko alien stuff is up and coming with lots of support ! Seriously buddy ! Explain for the price of a MONTHS subscription the box hes gonna use for LIFE is worth investing in ! A £50 box will give you more grief than its worth - unless you like spending hours around ya mates house and trawling thgrough forums your better off not going for "ENTRY" level gear imo.

Yes casawi - You need a box ! Preferably Enigma2 Although any box that works with CCcam or Oscam !
You will need a subscription to Share out ! Or you need to know someone who will share there subscription back to you !
