i think you need the above settings in reader.cfg : Try it out and let us know ?

Re Flashed by uSb every time
i tried every version of BH image in last week from 172 to most recent !
Every time i try to load TS panel ipk i get Operation failed !
usually log says cant write /usr/script/uptime.sh already exists !
i got round this in every version by renaming uptime.sh to old.uptime.sh < Then ts panel installs and operates correctly !
will this change effect the duos performance for any reason ?
hope this helps anyone with similar problems
My ecm times halved from around 160-200 to 80-100 so certainly a big improvement for me, i have a belkin one.
which card reader bris ?
Hello zebethyal ,
What channel list are you using out of interest ?
nice set-up although a little complex when reading it the first time !
best domestic switch that works with a standard quad is OPTIMA brand ¬ its Visions domestic range and does not require a quatro so you can just take four cables from your existing dish and standard Quad to the optima switch !
When would you need to use one of these and what benefit does it give you. is iy for blocks of flats to connect to a splitter or am i wrong?
Your right mate ! A quatro is for use with a multiswitch for large distribution systems ! they deliver the signal in bands, vertical high vertical low horizontal high and horizontal low
because there are four signal bands there are four outputs ! easy to confuse with a quad that delivers all bands from each output !
the polarity is voltage controlled and the band is switched with a 22khz tone sent from the receiver !
Lol you learn something new everyday - Ive just learnt you need planning permission for any dish over 1m (thats an opps from me, best keep the neighbours happy haha)
Only need planning permission if you attach it to the house ¬ Down the garden on a mount requires no planning consent !
Investing is the word to use ¬ how much is that brand new ? Is there a Uk supplier ? i'd love to get a proper big dish like that ! I have a 1.5 meter now and still cant receive everything !
Rik
i share with friends only ¬ some of my friends use cccam 2011 others 214 and 220 and 213 ¬ all appear to have different ecm usage amount !
as a rule i believe 5ky_uk sends ecm request every 7 seconds ! you can count them in cccam info yourself to confirm !
So roughly say 10 ecm per minute ? should be roughly 600 per hour so 10 hours makes 6000 so roughly 15000 in 24 hours without channel changes !
If someone hops channel alot this figure will rise i believe
:AJSHAREZ:
lol ¬ capicity freez gletch !
:fish slap:
Big family !
tendra150 wifi bridge !£23 delivered from sponsor works a treat
having just read the thread i reckon your on the right track mate ! if you can see server info via http://ipofgigablueHD800se:16001 ? then its the server !
is he a friend ?
check the sponsors
Save a little longer and buy an original ¬ you wont regret it or ever wonder "WHAT IF" or consider a VU solo/uno ? good advice from iron2011 all i can add is my opinion = dont buy a clone !
:rikjaard1:
have you setted up a dyndns account ?
mydyndns is a good provider to use
keep reading ¬ you have dm500 connected to cccam in debian ?
logged in as root type
nano /etc/ssh/sshd_config
Thats your SSHD config file. On that there will be line called
Port 22
We need to change that. You can change the number 22 to whatever port that you like. after you done hit Ctrl+O key on keyboard to write the chnages in to the file and then Ctrl+X to exit the text editor.
If you dont have nano editer installed you can get it from main debian mirror or use winscp and go via the file path /etc/ssh and sshd_config is what you edit !
after that try
On debian or Ubuntu run
restart ssh ¬ now you must login again with different port specified by yourself !
Edit i followed this instruction in debian with no problem !
Which card reader are you using ? i figure smargo
protocol = smartreader ( smargo )
detect = cd
device = 001:005
mhz = 357
cardmhz = 357
Try these settings but i never used a hub before ?
One should only notice it on the Edge of the footprint ¬ Such as with 4.8e and 26e !
Nice Thread
i beg to differ musogeek ¬
a satellite cannot be parked absolutely STILL in space that's why they end up in what is referred to as InCLINED orbits - I have found that fringe areas in the footprint can get different signal levels throughout the day and night and this level change can be tracked ¬ For example last time i set up my 1.5meter dish i could recieve 4.8 bot not all the channells without break up however during a select period of 6-7 hours certain channels wouldn't break up and that time spot changed through out the Rotation sequence - Funny it should be the same satellite in the beggining of this thread !
