is this other card showing in server and shares in your CCcam.info ?
on solo put these lines
SERVER LISTEN PORT : 12000
F: dm500 box1
===============================================
on dm500 box put this line
C: 192.168.1.100 12000 dm500 box1
===============================================
change 192.168.1.100 above to the correct ip address of your solo
Can you see the relationship between the lines on both boxes ?
also if your client box is connecting to CCcam then don't forget to allow it to recieve a share from beyond your CCcam
F: user pass 3 0 0 { 0: 0: 2 }
@djrikstar, I've had a friend on to me he's getting the blank page when he tries to get to 127.0.0.1/genxml/genxml.php/
I've not come across this myself, did you get it sorted ?
Ive a couple of peers moaning about stopping during the game. Is it to do with the router, or is it to do with a UBUNTU IP tabling? R is debian more stable?
I would swap out the router 1st just to rule it out as the problem, ubuntu needs more resources to run than debian but should be fine on a stable connection.
I've seen in the past many complaints from people about CCcam disconnecting, CCcam is rock solid and I often had uptime of several weeks without rebooting
most likely you have a dyndns problem or a router problem, 1st temporaraly change your router for a different one and report back after a few days
the router will do it instantly once it syncs to the line, and probably the best option, i could have the same ip for months but when my connection drops id be offline for about 1-2 minutes only
I've got 2 openboxes connected to csp and working fine, one here and one at a friends house
part of the issue was one of my friends had a 2nd openbox I did not know about so both of them on his network were causing his problems
@djrikstar, image sent but to modify it to allow you to add c lines you would have to export the maincode and add it to a known working firmware
not enough time on my hands for that lol
just for the record if any member decides to buy 2 or more openboxes for personal use be sure they have different mac addresses, check with the seller 1st to avoid this happening
Never tried, but i think oscam doesnt work fine for openbox.
works fine, been using one for about a month on oscam
@djrikstar, pm me your email addy and i'll send you on the image if you want to test it
also for anyone interested you can enter your mac addy on this site and find out who made your box
the boxes i got from ebay were made by SHENZHEN DVBWORLD TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. and the mac addy started with 00:18:BD
i've contacted the seller on ebay and if he does not replace the boxes with originals as advertised i will report him for selling clones and start a claim through paypal
yep it will change the mac addy but it looks like a trader image where the only way to edit the CCcam.cfg is to connect to a remote server via ftp or http
not worth posting it unless it works 100% but if you want to have a go ill email it to you
Huntamick, your on to something there, just checked my 2 openboxes and my 2 mates ones have the same mac addy
They were all bought from the same guy on ebay
now to try to change mac addys and see if it works lol
edit:
I've got an image for openboxes with an addon that will allow you to change the mac addy
Once I've tested it I will upload it here for anyone else that might purchase openboxes with the same mac addy
server is oscam 1.10 #6089
openbox s11 original and ive tried quite a few different firmwares, currently using C2HS2-11-10-10 and 11-12-10
any one openbox will stay connected, add a 2nd and I get disconnects

no problems from any other boxes connected, also if I connect them to my csp server I get the same results
maybe a problem with oscam ?
this is an example of user acc in oscam
[account]
user = openbox1
pwd = openbox1
group = 1,2
services = !adult_entertainment
caid = 0963
ident = 0963:000000
cccstealth = 1
keepalive = 1
Thanks for your time
A strange problem I can't seem to get my head around here guys, anyone got any ideas ?
s*y card read with oscam with dm500, dm500hd & dm800hd connected and working fine
my mates openbox s11 been connected for a month and no problems
few days ago i gave n line to another friend and both openboxes freeze together now,
any one of the 2 openboxes will work on it's own but they will not work together
both on latest fw that was on them when bought, both boxes using cccam
all dreamboxes work fine if openboxes connected or not
anyone seen this problem before ?
I currently use 0.9.0r38 and have tested the latest 224 and cant see much of a difference
raton is missing alright but im sure he's watching from afar lol
sbox is very similar to rqcs but works a bit better for euro n3 cards and I find a reflash of the dm every now and then is needed if using as a cardreader
yep csp is the best proxy imo, I even get lower ecm times with csp for my nd$ card than I used to get with cccam :)
oscam is an open source cardreader very similar to rqcs but under constant development and will read most cards these days
you can share to clients directly from oscam as well using CCcam, mgcamd etc on client side
stay away from MultiCS as it was rumoured to have a backdoor, it's a proxy similar to csp btw
for your card you wont find much better than rqcs,
sbox and oscam will do similar but rqcs was designed for n3 cards, ive been using it for 2 years trouble free ;)
A VPS is nice if you don't want your client boxes to be able to easily see they are connecting to your home IP - so it offers some protection that way.
Protection lol you only need Protection if you have something to hide !!!
Installing servers on a vps is for peeps that Have something to hide
just my opinion :sheep:
just to confirm I was using OSCAM 1.20 #6504 and had 7A added to whitelist with a while
#6504 is about a week old so it's fairly new
anyone thats been around for a while will have one or two dm500 lying around, if you do then you can use it as a cardreader, really fast and lower ecm times than a smargo
load a basic image onto it, install oscam and you got a really fast reader :)
as said smargo on debian 5 is hit and miss, I might get an omnikey to test it soon
Read the readme.txt that comes with cmum, it's all there
