The issue is that the box is not booting fully, or going to recovery mode either via finger on front redlight and not reacting to Telnet...
Box connected via lan cable with router?
You should get ip on your tv when box in recovery mode.
type this ip to web browser and upload clean image.

by default no, but you can mange your main folder movie to contain inside it other separate folder as you want

It should actually be played, Emby only uses the Gstreamer which the default player also uses.
Maybe play with the Emby Player settings

Hello brother, I have encountered these problems of yours, which have a lot to do with the box. For example, Broadcom, there is no sound during playback, or there is sound but no image, etc. HiSilicon generally does not have the above problems, or try switching decoders.

Some of movies & series not playing on emby dream for enigma2 ( plays well on others devices with emby )
But on playing well on default media player on Enigma 2.
Do you know where can be issue please?

So try apt-get install kernel-module-88x2bu instead.

I couldn`t find a .deb version mate, only an .ipk file.
kernel-module-88x2bu already installed on my dreamos but still wifi not working on OpenAtv with 8821cu works perfect

I'll have to check it out. Have set up mc card to hdd.
You don't need, use /media/mmc only change proper path for recording.
I have the same problem. Have tried several images. No luck. Rec for 10 sec. and stop.
Do you mount your HDD correctly? /media/hdd or media/usb
all folders for recording and timeshift are setup ?

Install OpenAtv image is got bulit in wifi driver and you can download if missing from feed
