The build quality between clone and original is very little, in fact its hard to to the difference, if you looking to save a few quid get one from china, the supplier i use has been very good and even replaced a faulty box a while back.If you details just pm and will send you details, dont want to put it here out of respect of sponser on here, who by the way if your going original you simply wont find a better deal. Been in touch with supplier and they say they do, but them saying that and working ok is another matter,like wozbwfc said if you got the cash go for something a little better, like vu+duo or dm800se both fantastic boxes but require a lot more knowledge on how to set up etc.

Have a look at the new ***box f3 hd, it plays almost every format you can throw at it and its been upgrade to true 1080P full Hd and not much more than openbox if your on a budget or ***box M3 HD has encryption program recording via USB, you can play through SD receiver decryption program.

I have tried many times but dont have the patience 3days the last time, considering there are so many of these openboxes on the market, surely a easy to use channel editing bit of software like dreamboxedit is not to much to ask, even the old cable boxes had better software.

It would be nice if you could use your firmware to obtain a channel list, the one thats embedded in this image is causing my box problems.i have tried dumping the channel list from this image and tried to upload to my firmware but lose all naming of channels and are not sorted at all, i really take my hat of to you for putting all this together,thanks.

Updated with firmware files that came with download and puts that red firmware on, tried using own firmware and still will not work, wont let you have more than 8 favs.

Come on guys really stuck here,also do you have to use firmare1 and firmware 2 which is provided in download or can you replace with your own?

Hi all really stuck trying to make my own list, get to the point where it says load firmware2.abs as below, but only 8 favs open up ?
You will only see 8 favourite groups this is what you want, now right click and import all the
favourites you saved from SeteditDream, load 8 favourites and then right click and export them
again as you will be using more than 8 after you have exported one you can load different favourite
over it and save that one allowing you to export and save as many as you want.
After you have saved all the favourites you want load up firmware2.abs in SeteditHD100
Notice when you open firmware2.abs you now have 32 favourites instead of 8.
I have followed tutorial to the letter and been trying to do this for 3 days now so any help would be great.

just dump the newcamd file from the box onto usb stick, open newcamd file in your computer, put your details on ,save it,upload back to box!

Has anyone managed to get mgcamd working on this nemesis 2.5 image,both mg_cfg and newcamd.cfg show up in usr/keys directory, but nothing working.

If that netgear is one of there superhubs, just head over to there support site and you will see your not alone with this problem, the problem is the superhub and virgin know they have a big problem on there hands. Suppose to be bringing out a new firmware fix in may thats sorts a whole host of problems out, there also looking for beta testers for this firmware in april!

Sometimes these can be a pain in the backside, use a different laptop/computer on your network, run set up and try again, once your device is seen on your network you can use it on any device you want.
