i found it again and reattached, there maybe a later version out but here is one to get you started
edit: attached additional versions
You do need the nline as i take it you are using oscam as reader and cccam as server
just the settings on the CCcam.cfg like user pass etc etc change them to how you like and ports to suit you then just forward them in the router
The only other parameters you need is when you start adding peers/clients etc
A guide on here shows you all thats needed to get you on your way :)
i did use the CCcam/oscam but tried oscam as server/reader and found it suited me :)
I know how to add f/c/n lines just didn't know if I needed to add any other settings.
The ccam.cfg that is provided with the auto installer has an nline for connection to oscam.
Do I need to add any other parameters...
Jusy got to set port forwarding up and then im good to go (i hope)...
Well thats your call mate, they are fine at the moment, but who knows what the future brings always new gadgets on the horizon.
Addons are down to personal taste and your setup, some are more popular than others, here is a simular thread from not so long ago :)
File name says 10/07 but its still the 9th as an ipk file
Thanks to MasterG for his late night tutorial :)
Try rescanning the box and/or different image, running out of things to suggest here
What dish are these boxes connected to? The same different?
Have you tried swapping the connections from your satelite round and running the dreambox without the duo on?
I always disable DHCP on my receivers even if they are just client, and fix the MAC addresses for each receiver to a fixed IP on my router which matches the one I assigned on the receiver - never had any issues this way with conflicts as I am always in control.
I do a similar thing, but I use DHCP Reservation, so an ip address is reserved/tied to the mac address of the box
Neither at the moment, as ive just set the server up and got it working...
As for my first question, don't think I had put the card in the reader properly....
I think ive nearly managed to setup my linux server, but want to make sure before I go and change all the usernames passwords and such...
I assume thats as the server isn''t requesting channels and ive no live lines/shares on the server yet?
Which leads me onto my next question, if I want to add a share do I add it to oscam.user or a fline in CCcam?
EDIT: didn't post it as I intended.... omnikey reader is showing as lb reader - no data and status as off
Sata 3 drives are backwards compatible
You have given a statement of fact not a question.
What is the problem if it is only sata2 compatible? (I assume you meant compatible) if its because you have some device that is sata3, then the device will still work at a lower speed when interacting with the duo.
I did it by reserving a network ip address for the mac address of my linux server in my router, and from what ive seen it differs quite a bit depending on what router you are using, therefore if people wanted to use this method they would have to look dhcp reservation for thier router manufacturer (I did it this way, as I have reserved ip addresses for my Dream Box and Duo also, makes life easier when they always have the same local address).
Thats kind of what I want to do, I just want to be able to use an ftp app also.
EDIT: Your post put me in right direction though
How do I enable ftp/ftp access to the server?
