Boxes that support only SSL70 / SSL72 are Sim 1.0 boxes, the sim is generally totaly white or could even have printed the same as on the original sim Dreambox A2P... and stuck with some glue on the sim socket... but are still Sim 1.0, and not capable of loading original image with SSL84.

Try to just flash the SSL84.NFI bootloader, to see if the box boots OK... if it gives a NO CA ERROR, it confirms it's a Sim 1.0 box... if this is the case, your only chance to upgrade your box to a newer image is to change the Sim.

If your box is original and accepts the original SSL84.NFI, then go to OpenPLi and upload the latest original image published by them, that is OpenPLi 2.1.

For Japhar Sim,

Ferrari Sim is not capable of running Kernel 3.2 images, so if you want Kernel 3.2 images on your DM500HD Ferrari, it's important to upgrade it to Japhar sim (replace the old sim Ferrari to the Japhar, then you will be able to use Japhar AND Ferrari images).

This is not possible, as Ferrari Sims doesn't support the new Kernel 3.2, you will need to upgrade your sim to Japhar.
