If you use Japhar sim install sim2 images, ferrari images or japhar images. You dont need to overwrite the ssl that is already in the image file.
It will then works with no problem.
Flashing an SSL after flashing the image could get you the image corrupted because ssl needs to be the correct one for the driver installed in the image.

This is not a Japhar image on this topic. At what we can see on the filename it seems to be for estar.
On your logic it should have a km title writting what it is not japhar, not sim2, not original, not a8p, not sim 1.0, not ferrari, not dm8000, not dm900, not vu, etc ;o))))

Yes DM800HD has Scart and all DM800HD images support Scart.

As it was indicated you need to upgrade your box to the japhar sim if you want to use Japhar images/firmware.
You have 2 solutions, recover the box with the Dreamup to again use the estar or get a Kaphar Sim to replace the old unsupported estar by a new Japhar sim.

It also depends on whether you own an original DM8000 model or a Chinese clone. I assume you own an original DM8000 that contains the mipsel (mips / mips32 / mips32el, etc.) chipset because the Chinese cloned models may contain a different chipset architecture (such as Atmel). Since you have OpenPLi installed, you probably also own the original DM8000, because OpenPLi is only developed for the original DM8000 chipset, that is, for the mipsel. I hope the above Oscam will work properly on your DM8000. If you would like a manual installation procedure for Oscam, after downloading a binary file from the Internet for your chipset (mipsel) and for your OpenPLi Enigma (OE2.0 core), here's one way to do it:

Clone of DM8000HD is a 1:1 replica of the original, only difference is the sim that is not RSA compatible, this means just that you need the software protection (in driver) to be NOP to have another sim to be used. Chipset is exactly the same from broadcom... FYI.

Yes you can upgrade any DM box (clone or original) to Japhar sim.

Depending of the situation there is 2 cases when you have only the blue light.
Problem on the PSU (generally few capacitors need replacement) this is generally for clone boxes, or its a problem of Ground somewhere in the box, check with Johnny at jb8a8f8.com

We will release our openpli version, once we will have succeeded it n understanding the last bit that is still missing, allowing all DreamboxOne owners to also have a Japhar version of Openpli for their box. Anyone can try as the receipes are the one public for DMM dvlpmt for Dreamone released by DMM.

You get the Japhar sim, flash the box with japhar ssl having the estar in the box. Turn off the box and replace then estar with the japhar. And it will be done.
