I am trying to install quater pounder ver enigma2-plugin-extensions-quarterpounder-6.2.0u.ipk which is downloaded from the first post ont OpenATvV 7.2 but it comes up with error "Unknown package" . Is this packag comaptiable with OpenATV 7.2?

Well it looks like no one has this box yet. But I have it now and I can report it just works fine. fast boot up, channels change are slightley slower than Mutant hd51. Came with Teamblue image preinstalled . downloaded Cam feed from this thread ,
installed CCCam2.3.2 put keys in and of it went.
Very pleased with box. Remote control is nice, just hope it will last longer than Mutant remote, which sponsor refused to replace even though it was still under warrenty.
All in, it seems a nice box, time will tell how long it last, hopefully a long time

Thanks for the reply. Installing the kodi from plugins is not a problem. But playing any video is after configuring kodi, it does not play any streams. I know the streams are working as I can play them on my vu box. I think it might be something to do with Mediaplayer.

Has anyone manamged to get kodi to work on Mutant HD51? I can not play anything in kodi. I have same setup on pc and Vu+Ultimo 4k and they work fine. Any suggestions please? I have tried on PLI and Vix latested images but they do not play anything. I know streams are working as i play them on other devices I have mentioned.

Thanks to both of you for the replies. The box is out warrenty (by 3 months). Like I said before I know its not the tuner fault because I have another Wetek box and both the tuners work fine in this box. When I try both the tuners in faulty box there is no signal. I have also tried diffrent Enigma 2 images, openlec and Android. They all come up with same problem. There mush be someting wrong with board for sattelite side. The streaming works flawless.

I hope some can help me here with my Wetek play box. Its been troubleing for a while, but it use to loose sattellite signal some time 30-40 minutes or so and channel would freeze. i had to swith the box off for 30 minute befor it would start to work agine and then it would do the same agian after working for a while. But now it has completly stoped finding any signal. The streaming side of the bos via internet still works fine and can go on view as long as i want.
I know its not cooling issue as i have opened the box and put a fan over it temporaly to see if would carry on working but it frooze again. I have also eliminated the tuner as I have another Wetek box and swapped the tuners and both tuners worked fine in the working box with same satellite input. But both tuners not working inthe faulty box. So its oviously something wrong with the hardware on faulty box. Can it be fixed? if yes what to look for? Or is it goosed ready for the bin :cursing:

For Pli, just install oscam from pli pannel and download the lates oscam from this link

Unzip file and replace the oscam file only in /usr/bin/oscam folder. Rename the lates oscam file same as the orginal (if its diffrent) and over write orginal or rename the orginal oscam to a diffrent name if you want to keep a copy. Restart the box and then restar oscam, you will have the lastes oscam working.
ps. this works for all images and arm boxes, even Wetek

Yes some of the addons work fine mostley low quality streams but high quality streams either make the box freez or it crahes out of kodi. This seems to be the case with all e2 images for wetek box. I have given up for time being on kodi working. But the E2 images for Satellite viewing are FAB. so we will just have to wait some time until delevopers get the kodi fully working. Just to have E2 image for wetek in it self is quite an achivement. Well done to all the people who spend so much time and efort for no gain to them selves, just so that pople like me can enjoy their work. Well Done!

Thanks for the quick reply. I am using 32gb Kingston class 10 memory card. I will try with an other memory card. At lease i know now its working. Thanks will let you know.

Has anyone had any success with kodi working on Wetek Openelec box using Anigma2 images? I have tried openhdf-5.3, openspa-5.0.005, MNIGMA-0.2-20160214, PBNIGMA-VX-5.1-20160217 and they all crash when I try to play any steam in kodi. Most of the time I have to unplug the power cable and restart the box manually as it just freezes. Any guidance would be appreciated.

I have installed the image from above link and it seems to be working well. I am trying to log into the box via ftp and it keeps saying user/password wrong. I have tried user = root and password = wetek are these correct? thanks for your help.

I need some help in finding out how to start instant recording by pressing a record button (smal red button) on the remote control. My openelec wetek box is working fine and I am able to watch live tv. But can not seem to start recording on to a USB hard drive which I have connected to wetek. I have aslo changed recording path to external usb drive in VDR setting. When I pres record button on remote nothing happens. Is there somehing else i need to setup?
