    Hi, I've switched my server from cccam/ Oscam to just Oscam that's serves to my boxes with mgcamd but I'm wondering is there any problems you can spot with the config I'm useing?

    Did you look at your router and see which ports are open?
    If they are complaining about spam emails, then either they are being generated by some stb/computer on your local network, or there is some relay virus on one of your machines which is being used to forward spam.

    What did the letters say exactly?

    Disabling upnp may stop it, but does not solve where/why it is happening and may cause other programs not to work well.

    I thrown the 2 letters out but as I phoned them about my 200mb upgrade I asked what the letters where about and they said it was because of spam emails coming from me I'm not sure if it was me moving over to mgcamd or installing new asus router and maybe there was a setting inside the firmware caused it but I've disabled upnp until the next letter comes out which they say will be strike 3 but will let me fix the problem before doing anything to my account

    Probably just a coincidence, unless you downloaded oscam from some strange place and it has a virus in it. More likely a virus on your windowz xp. ;) You should be able to look at your router 's status and somewhere it should show which ports are open...

    Sent from my KFTT using Forum Fiend v1.3.3.

    I don't use Windows it's the same Linux setup I used when on cccam/Oscam, the problem only started when serving to my mgcamd boxes as though maybe it's something to do with mgcamd configs

    bit of a strange problem since changing over to Oscam server supplying my home boxes that have mgcamd, virgin has sent me out 2 letters saying something about upnp and spam emails causing problems at there end, will I disabling upnp fix this problem?

    Anyone have any thoughts on this thanks?

    Hi, I was thinking about getting one of these boxes to replace my Amazon Fire box is that worth doing so? & are they good boxes?

    yes i have , but i updated it via the box , i use 0960 card though i'm for watching it on orginal box when it comes live as i'm paying for hd so might aswell use it :)

    No help there as the question was Oscam server, 0963 card

    Hi all, ive recently changed to this modem/ router and now it's freezing every so often where as before when I had the vmdg 480, 100mb this never happened, anyone else useing this same modem that could help?

    my setup is Linux PC running Ubuntu, oscam with cccam & newcamd protocol enabled

    I've checked the guy I share with he doesn't use my card to much, as for my broadband speed it is Virgin superhub 100mb with only the server & my main box running of it

    I originally thought ether the router or the configs?

    I've removed all peers & shares to just my own box & the problem is still present?

    the problem is still happening after updating oscam, changing omnikey card reader to new 1, making some changes to the configs, now $ky sports freezes every 20mins, Should I remove the whitelist from the configs?

    Now I'm thinking of doing this option?

    Setup Newcamd sever and use mgcamd as client

    Thats what i did on my local boxes but for my peers i made a newcamd proxy server in oscam. No more glitches

    Can someone please explain how to ad newcamd proxies to oscam & where it goes thanks?

    hi does any other members have some suggestions to try thanks?

    hi I've read I would have to ad a couple of these in oscam to lighten up the load in order to stop freezing?

    [reader]
    label = xyz
    protocol = newcamd
    device = xyz,1234
    key = 0102030405060708091011121314
    user =
    password =
    services = !dead_hd
    keepalive = 1
    group = your card group
    emmcache = 1,3,2
    dropbadcws = 1
    audisabled = 1

    There isn`t any downloads for x86_64 with omnikey support. You will need to use simplebuild that codar linked for you in post #7.

    sorry to sound stupid but i'm not sure how to do that does anyone else have copy of oscam version I need thnaks?
