Question... sorry to threadcrash guys... is this the proper racing sis on 5e that has the horseracing? i remember installing this 20 years ago for granada with a monsterous dish and weird lnb...
If memory serves i think i read in the last few years the smartcard security used was power VU which i thought was unbreakable...army stuff i thought......
Would be great to know as i have my dad and a few other scallywags:-) that would love this at home.....

Yeah I got a few bricked ones they all don’t work the display digital doesn’t come on though if I have no luck on them I will just sell again as spares or repairs or just throw them in the recycling bins. Yh I know that the Vus+ are the best on the market and zgemmas must be the second ones.
Must have been a ballache for you Nitro123 i,m sure...dont through the boxes in the recycle bin if you are unsuccessful please...i,m sure we could arrange something, however if you do decide to sell you would have to go through the proper channels in the for sale section on this forum,only fair really.... in any case i for one would need much more info on whats for sale with more pics without a hdd present for starters....
You are also well off the mark with your judgement on zgemma boxes being in 2nd contention to a vu+ box,,i have no experience with these boxes but i,m not even sure zgemma would be in my top 10 if i had a list,loads better boxes like gigablue.technomate and mutant to name a few.....
Keep me posted please as i think i may be able to resurrect your faulty boxes fingers crossed...

Hi johndeere88 nah I’m not selling them I purchased them really cheap from eBay to use in my living room & use one in my room to but they never booted up I tried everything I could think of had 0 luck.
This is what happens if you buy other peoples problems, not a good idea if you have limited experience i have to say but its your money !
I was only trying to help and get a good home for them,which i assume you have a few? ahh well good luck with your doorstoppers haha.
I am only kidding but you should learn from this, dont waste money buying equipment you cant fix and believing forums are the answer, if this was the case every tom dick and harry would be doing it.... buy a box that works....
Btw VU+ boxes are about the best going.

Are you selling the box/s you have nitro? would,nt mind a crack at it meself..does anyone know if the chips are read/write protected? in saying that if they are as cheap as nitro says there may be no point except to replace.

As jenseneverest says try a good pen formatted to fat32.
There is also an rs232 port which could be of use but i have no knowledge of these boxes, the clone unit appears to have a jtag point close to the card reader too but i realise that doesn't help the op.
It also looks like a 48 tsop chip in the video, lifted and flashed a few of those in the past so maybe my clanzer and willem proggys may come in useful to help someone after all:-) although i never lifted the chip like the video suggests...i used feeler gauges and gently inserted it underneath the chip while using heat on one side of the chip at a time...lots of flux too !

Nagravision card should still be possible to run on NC+ with the correct equipment ofcourse, that said its possible its CAK7 Pairing which will means its tits up , does anyone know which Rom/revision the new nagra card for NC+ is? and has it even been distributed yet?
I have an old redundent conax nc card myself which defo requires an rsa key too ! so make sure your supplier sends this to you with your new card.
In any case NC Poland is a very good package so let hope it stays for the forseeable future, who knows i may even dust some cobwebs off my own card and top it up as i still have my old config for it.

Hi all, a mate has asked me to try and find this which i assume will be with a working key/licence.
Not sure if this is possible as i cant seem to find much info on it apart from genuine software/licences
As far as i know he has an old dell server system and plans to use it for some sort of vehicle analysis/software remapping website.

You could try Mgcamd1.35 or 1.31 depending whats in your download server as i aint familiar with your box or image.
Also sometimes you need to check the properties on the oscam binfile in usr/bin which should be 755, config files should be ok with 644 attributes.
Also check its the latest version of your image as mgcamd went titsup when VM passed new dvb audio streams down a few months ago.

It's a white card, I don't have movies or sport, just a family package.
Your card will be paired to the official reciever although that should not matter in your situation with an entertainment/family package because afaik those channels are not paired to any reciever since even as far back to when sky digital was launched in 1998.
However i,m not familiar with your box which after looking at it has no card reader or enigma based so i,m not sure if you can run the card in that.

To calarify, are you saying that there is a startup script that is telling my server to run the old version 9584 and not the new 11396 version .

How do you not know this if you are running a pc server? did someone set this server up for you.
Unless you are running a large server then an e2 box should suffice, thats what i use with a small server for friends and family, images for e2 boxes are more stable than ever with less crashes and the ram and processor in most of them are beyond the majority of standard home pc,s unless you pay mega bucks or build the pc yourself, anyway thats your call.
Been a while since i messed with debian/ubuntu but as said in rc local then if memory serves its cd / var/bin oscam -b
This will depend where your oscam bin is located and named tho.

ipk failed to install even via putty...it works fine anyway.. its an old image on an old box that i cant talk about on here if you know what i mean so only way was manually.

Dont know whats going on but i have done another scan and at the races is there now.
No mix files in custom folder, a few 19.2,turksat and 2 282 files, i have put the abm folder in usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/autobouquetsmaker but it seems to work fine from services menu, should it be in Systemplugins directory abu?

Not sure mate, i had to manually install abm on this particular box, extracted from an abm 2.9 ipk file i found here.
At the races was there until i updated config via remote.

Hi i noticed (at the races) dissapeard from the sports bouquet on 28.2 after updating config with ABM 2.9.
It was present in the sports bouquet before config update so i,m wondering if there is anywhere i can ask if this can be put back in after a scan.
I could obviously move the channel myself but its my mates box and its set to auto scan every 30 days so it would dissapear again and he wont have a scoobie how to move channels.
I also checked in all channels and at the races is working fine so its not as if its went black.
