I made the dependencies folders structured the same as your receiver so you can just send the usr folder to the root and everything will be in the correct place, this is the exact way i installed them yesterday while testing the plugin on various images.
Ten so why won't my usr go over to the box in dreambox control?

Dude,are you seriously trying to tell us that you are trying to send over the whole usr folder to your box ?
if you have done this and overwritten any existing files,you will now find yourself in the postition of having to reflash your box after you next reboot it.
you dont send the usr folder over !
you send over its contents !
so you open the usr folder in your fxp program and you will then see a folder called lib,you then open the usr folder in you box and you also see a folder called lib.
you then open the lib folder in your fxp program and you will see a folder called enigma2,then next python and so on untill you get to the last file.you do the same in your box opening enigma2 then python and so on till you get to the last file which in this case is extensions.
when you have opened extensions on both your box and your ftp program you then send the OnDemand folder over,so in your box inside the extensions folder you see OnDemand.
you then open this folder in your box and chmod the contents to 755
lastly you restart enigma2 and you then have the plugin installed.
if your only trying to add the dependencies,then the same rules apply but you end up in the python2.7 folder for some and the site packages folder for others.
whatever folder you open on your pc,you just open the corresponding folder in your box.when there are no more folders to open on the pc,then this is where the file or files are sent in your box.
do you understand ?
i hope youve not screwed up your box,but i strongly suspect that a reflash is now required.

No enigma 2 file in my lib?
The OnDemand folder goes to /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/
For the dependencies just send the usr folder to the root of your stb as shown below.
The ipk file goes to /tmp then manual install from your images software manager.

Yeah as master g says get a free host name from there. Make sure your ports are forwarded correctly on your router. Which router and isp do you use? Are you in the UK? Give me a shout if you need help. Will try and do a step by step guide if I get time if it would help people.

I have just got an vu+ uno, I'm running blackhole image 2.02 and I can't get positioner setup to work properly it lets me positioner fine movement but when I exit it out the satellite dish just moves beck to the default location. The reason I need this is that my dish is out of alinement. It works fine on my DM800 running blackhole. Is this a known problem with the new image?? I know on the dm800 you could fine tune, exit back to the channel (without saving the fine tune) and as long as you don't move the satellite position it was fine. I don't want to save the fine tune, just move the dish show I can lock onto the channel. I don't mind fine tuning all time when I move sat positions, which I used to do on the dm800.

Try this below it's what I use when setting up, I have set 3 up so far using this method. (VU Duo & VU Solo)
Setting VU Solo/Duo up
We will start with 1° degree West
Digi TV News & Documantaries
On receiver set remote to Realitatea TV (12687 H 27500 ¾) (Free to air)
Go to menu/set up/service searching/tuner configuration
Tuner A
Should be set to Advanced
Pick Thor 5/6 Intersat 10-12 (1° West)
Scroll down to
Longitude 000.000 (West)
Latitude 053.853 (North)
No to Usuals
Stored position 004 (use this for 1° West)
Now save (press ok) and exit
Zap back to to channel you were on,tuner set up? (press Yes)
Back to tuner config go down to satfinder and put in al the settings from above and save and exit yes again for zapping now down to positioner set up
On Tune press red button and in their should be your settings from above
Press ok
Now go down to ʺGoto 0’’ and set dish to find Zero (can take a while)
Now search west until it finds 1° West (it will find it on its own)
Now you can try and get the signal higher by using fine tune
Once done go to positioner storage set to 4 and press green button to save
Then press exit and yes to zap back and then exit back to normal screen your picture should now show on the TV screen.
Try this on other sats but set 1° West up first. see the 2 photos below.
Just loaded the above on my m8 VU Solo and it works ok.

Has anyone managed to get Vu+ player working? I've got a Duo, openwif, on BT infinity. It will not connected after putting the IP address in and entering root and password... any ideas?

yep I have it working now on my HTC Desire HD in my house. I would check your OpenWebif configuration. I am also using a VU Duo.

Cheers m8 found it but my picture has frozen and will not move on the picture in the other room is ok but on laptop it's frozen.
Just noticed it's not opened VLC it's opened windows player how do I get it to open VLC?
Now sorted just changed default player to VLC.
This screenshot shows that you have selected the Current channel, click on Bouquets to the right of it.

when I put my ip in the web browser it goes on to this program ''Open Source Web Interface for Linux'' and this does not show a channel list or a small tv screen.
ps I do have vlc downloaded, it worked before I put the new image on?
I wanted to watch football from my VU Duo on my laptop in another room so I put my ip address in the web browser and Open Source Web Interface for Linux set-top box opened up but it won't let me watch tv anyone know how to work round this. The image I have is Black Hole 2.0.1
