    Hi guys just wanted to share my experience. I had the same issue as deejay_waz but with a skybox V8S and after a lot of reading and many, many times trying different methods nothing seemed to work so tried my own ways so this is what I did to bring a V8S back to life.

    With the dish feed plugged in booted the box but pressing menu as soon as it boots within a split second before it freezes.
    Do a factory reset deleting all files and then uploading blank constant.cw and CCcam.cfg with the lan tool.
    Delete all channels.
    Then I upgraded the firmware using USB latest one while writing is V8 V6 150519.abs from skybox.cc and waited for reboot
    Uploaded the latest ajsat list waited for reboot then pressed menu as soon as it booted and then changed time setting for summer time as we are in summer.
    Then I exited to the TV and low and behold the box didn't lock up and is still running as I am writing this.

    Changing the time settings may not be needed but they are the exact steps I took and it worked and now time to try it on a F5 and F5s

    Update!!

    Just done the same procedure on the F5s and worked a treat :) Hope others find this useful.

    Try converting the boxkey with Dreambox Config Creator, then adding it to oscam.server

    Code
    boxid=XXXXXXXX

    I have done that but use nds box key converter found on here, this is the oscam.server with my reader.

    [reader]
    label = b***b
    description = b***b
    protocol = pcsc
    device = 0
    services = !dead_hd
    autospeed = 0
    caid = 0963
    boxid = xxxxxxxx
    fix07 = 0
    detect = cd
    ident = 0963:000000
    group = 2
    emmcache = 1,3,2
    blockemm-unknown = 1
    blockemm-s = 1
    blockemm-g = 1
    saveemm-u = 1
    lb_weight = 101

    Maybe worth trying Sky HD Multiroom Box DRX595L. Have a look at this thread that shows the new 0960 card working in this box => ecm not found..

    Or just pair it to any standard definition model..

    Thanx for that, I ended up getting the drx595-c and paired my card to it but still the same, would it make any difference in drx595L or drx595-c and that thread says 0960 card works but doesn't mention the 0963 which I have.

    Hi, I have a 0963 card and found this thread and purchased a drx595-c and paired my card to it but still not getting movies or sport, I know guys have said it works with 0960 card and thought this would also work for the 0963 card. I am sure I am missing something and just hoping you guys could help me out.

    Hi, sorry to jump on this thread. I have a card and it was paired to a dsi8215 but recently had to contact *** about pairing the card and after some time came to the conclusion they couldn't pair it to that box. It is currently paired to a drx890 but obviously don't want it to that box, could any of you guys suggest the next best one to pair my card to.

    Hi, I am trying to get multics to work, I have it connected to oscam and detecting my local card but when I connect to multics I get ECM nok for some reason.

    Here is my config which I am sure it has something to do with that.

    Hope someone can help me out with this one.

    No channel lists I have used seem to work. I have deleted the old channels from my x5 then loaded this one but when the box restarts the channels aren't in order they are all over the place.

    Has anyone got any ideas? I am to bone idol to do it by the remote especially now the sun is out but if I have to then I will while the Mrs watches her soaps

    Hi guys, I am having an issue with the remote cache. When ever csp is run and not receiving any remote hits the server runs fine with with no O flags. When I start receiving remote hits I get a lot of OF flags and causing a lot of freezing and once the remote hits start coming I cant figure out how to disable it any help is much appreciated.

    Hope that helps

    I have csp running on centos 5 but for some reason it grabs more ecm requests from cws connectors than my local n line connector, how can I resolve this?

    Also I get 285 forwards during last period, now to me that seems quite high.

    If anyone can help that would be greate
