This happened yesterday aswell thought i messed something up trying to compile java6 so done a fresh install but not going to fall for that one again.

Also user is a different name.

How would i do a complete backup of my debian server incase of any problems and i wanted to restore all my working settings i have now. Im after a making a image backup. If not what do you guys do??

Tried load of different settings but still not working. Would you quickly have a look at my set up via teamviewer to see where im going wrong. Been at it all day now and still no further so any help appreciated. Thanks Guys

I tried put a expiry date to see if it works as i must have tried everything in the book to get it working. Can you see anything different in them logs?

Im not creating Nline as i thought once i add a user in oscam it creates a line automatically without the use of CCcam??

I am trying to connect to oscam from a box on my LAN.

I just put *** card in today and i have set everything up. The reader is now recognized and i have added my box to oscam and can see it connected but the channels are not clearing. Could someone have a quick look at my oscam webif to see if they see the problem on teamviewer as i can;t wait to get this done been at it for weeks. Finally the end is near i can put my feet up.

Im following silverfox tutorial toscam-cccam-auto-install-scripts-version1-20-02-2012. Im doing everything right. But everytime it restarts im getting no interface detected i.e lo interface.

It works before i restart. I think the problem could be the config.php i change the ip which is set to 192.168.1.10 to a local ip of my choice. And then i run autoscript and it asks me to put in my static ip i put in the same local ip as i did in config.php.
Is this right?? As im not sure whats making my interface not recognized after a restart

Some one please answer as soon as you can as its doing my head in this is 2nd install:tire:

Thanks glenviewjf. I have it installed now after days of trying.
The only problem is when i go to start ./cardproxy.sh i get this error:
"Startup failed: Unsupported java vm 'OpenJDK Client VM', only the original sun vm has been tested with csp"

Any suggestions. Im getting there slowly but surely.

Yes sorted it finally here's the commands that fixed it

    "apt-get install sun-java6-bin sun-java6-jre sun-java6-jdk sun-java6-plugin"
    "update-java-alternatives -s java-6-sun"

For anyone that ever has this problem.

Thanks glenviewjf. I have it installed now after days of trying.
The only problem is when i go to start ./cardproxy.sh i get this error:

Finally managed to install sunjava6 from gui but now when i run the command ./cardproxy.sh start it gives me

    Starting CardServProxy: [ FAILED ]
Startup failed: Unsupported java vm 'OpenJDK Client VM', only the original sun v
m has been tested with csp.

This is a true test of patience lol. Someone please rescue me before i spend another 8 hours trying to sort this.

Followed masterG tutorial and all seems well i put the deb line "deb hxxp://ftp.debian.org/debian unstable non-free" in sources.list and then apt-getupdate. Then when i get to the apt-get install sun-java6-jre and run the command i get

    "apt-get install sun-java6-jre"

    Reading package lists... Done
    Building dependency tree
    Reading state information... Done
Package sun-java6-jre is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source

E: Package 'sun-java6-jre' has no installation candidate

I have tried different packages in sources.list but still having problems trying to get this installed.

Anyone know where i could be going wrong??

Having issues trying to install java6 and compile csp on my debian 6 server.

    Im putting in

    vi /etc/apt/sources.list :
deb Index of /debian lenny main non-free
deb Debian -- Security Information lenny/updates main non-free
    $ apt-get update
    $ apt-get install sun-java6-jre sun-java6-plugin sun-java6-fonts

Its saying packages not available. I have tried many different tuts but having a hard time getting it all up and running. Could someone tell me a script a can put in r give us a quick hand on teamviewer. Thanks ppl
