Please use following commands to install ffmpeg libraries:

cd /tmp
wget http://iptvplayer.pl/resources/ffmpeg3.2.2_armv7_fpu_hard_openssl1.0.2_dash_librtmp_native_rtmp.tar.gz
tar -xvf ffmpeg3.2.2_armv7_fpu_hard_openssl1.0.2_dash_librtmp_native_rtmp.tar.gz -C /
rm ffmpeg3.2.2_armv7_fpu_hard_openssl1.0.2_dash_librtmp_native_rtmp.tar.gz
sync

After installation please check if ffmpeg is working:

ffmpeg -version

Then make E2 restart and go to IPTVPlayer. It will detect ffmpeg and ask you to install exteplayer3.

You need to use porxy server NOT web proxy gateway.

You can easy check if your proxy server works using proxy options in your browser. For example in Firefox.

Firefox -> Options -> Advanced -> Network -> Settings -> Manual proxy server configuration

So, if you want to test free proxy server then please check it with Firefox first.

If you want to add some service to IPTVPlayer then you can do this by your self.

Here is source code:

At first you need to learn python programming language.

Then you need to learn how specific web service works. Check requests and responds to/from www server.

Then you need wrote parser for the service.

For me it take about 1 day in case of Arabic site it is even longer because I do not knot this language at all.

Yes. Please provide result of following commands:

cat /proc/cpuinfo

openssl version

ls -la /lib/libc-*

Then I will be able to tell you which ffmpeg package you should install.

What MediaPortal have to do with ffmpeg?

exteplayer3 which are using ffmpeg was written especially for the IPTVPlayer, so are you sure that MediaPortal change ffmpeg libs?

Anyway this is not topic for IPTVPlayer support.

Your libraries ffmpeg for exteplayer3 or gstreamer for gstplayer must support HTTPS links to be able to play HTTPS uri without buffering.

If this is not case then you always can use movie player with buffering.

Your commands are wrong.

You need to execute each line separately:

cd /tmp

wget http://iptvplayer.pl/tools/mipsel/readelf

chmod 777 readelf

./readelf -a /lib/libc-*.so | grep FP:

rm readelf

As I wrote your ffmpeg libraries does not support HTTPS protocol.

Because, their were build without openssl support:

--disable-openssl

You should report this problem to image developers, because as I can see you installed ffmpeg libs from feed.

Hard to say because you did not provide example problematic link not debug logs.

So, there is not possible to help you.

Probably player components on image does not support HTTPS links.

Let read how to install valid ffmpeg libs for MIPSEL based set-top-box:

You can also use player with buffering then data will be download first on your hdd/pendrive.

Active movie player can be set under blue button ("More").

Anyway are you sure that this VPN give GB IP?

If you install exteplayer3 then HLS links will works without problems.

In 2017.12.13.06 I updated it, but at now only HLS links are extracted.

They use now geoblocking policy for MP4 streams, so I am not able to see what request to server is needed to get this types of links.

If you will have access to proxy server with GB IP and provide it to me, then I will be able to check how to get mp4 stream.
