192.168.2.x are the ip adds the router is assigning. Have just had a look again at the router and the settings under lan settings and internet settings are different:
default server (under internet settings) is 83.81.0.1
subnet mask (under internet settings) is 255.255.248.0 but under lan settings it is 255.255.255.0 -
Still no luck. I unchecked dhcp in comms setup, and entered the following (from my setup), and asked the box to test the connection. Only the gateway and nameserver came back with green tags.
ip 192.168.2.4
netmask 255.255.255.0
default gateway 192.168.2.1
nameserver 192.168.2.1is it possible that my router cannot handle the network setup (2 computers and a DB)? its a Belkin N wireless.

Ok. Have been trying countless tricks to solve my problem - but nothing doing. So I guess it might be the image (had updated to Gemini 4.7). Im a little unhappy to move away from Gemini, so any suggestions about which version has less issues?
-
Yes, the same server for both. Stepwise:
1. dyndns - updater is working
2. ip - i ran ipconfig/all and it seems fine (although LAN connection isnt showing a default gateway)
3. port - canyouseeme says my port is open.the flines are as follows: F: clientname clientpassword 2 0 0 { 0:0:3 } { } { } clientdnsadd
To my untrained eye, I cant see where the issue is :-(

Yes to both. Ip is static. I can see my port through canyouseeme.org

I updated my image last night and now all clients are showing as offline. From what I've read this means that I'm the one who's offline. I've looked at my c and f lines, everythings fine (even removed # comments), dcc and ccaminfo can all talk to the box, the only thing i cant do is enter the box via web browser. What could be the problem?

Nagios or Zabbix or Other?

Looking through the various posts on external mounts, it looks tricky. Is there an idiots guide somewhere?
-
I have an old seagate freeagent desktop usb hdd lying around and Im wondering if I can mount it to my DM7020. Is this possible?
From what I read the main issue is power compatibility, but as this is externally powered Im sure that becomes a null point. BUT, I'd like to hear the views of the gurus.

EPGs aside, im looking for a live sports schedule (football, rugby, formula 1, cricket) in ical format for me to add to google calendar. UK tv only.

The wierd thing is that its from the same ip address as the one cccaminfophp is showing as connected.
-
CCcaminfophp shows the ip address of all clients and the dns server that its paired up with. An odd thing started happening a few days ago where one of my clients was showing as connected (under the dns server name) but my warnings.txt log kept showing his ip address as trying unsuccessful logins every hour. Why would this happen?
-
from what i'm gathering, if you dont have a local card there's no real reason to convert to oscam?!?
-
Thanks. Confirm zero share means changing the fline to { 0:0:0 } ? and if I have a # in front of the warnings.txt line in my cccam.cfg file does that mean no log file therefore no risk?
-
so how long do you let someone "test" a cline for? you see them connected for 24hrs? 48hrs? 72hrs? When is a good time to disconnect them?
-
Have you pressed update at the top of the page??
:-) yes. update the page every 8 hours

from what i understand (and correct me if im wrong), ecms handled on the "servers connected" page shows ecm requests handled by my peers FROM me and ecms handled on the "clients connected" page shows ecm requests from my peers handled BY me.
i've gone through all my clines and flines and everything seems fine. my clients all claim that things look good on their side but one thing keeps bugging me. the ecms handled on my clients page (cccaminfophp) reads zero all through the list. its been like this since i set up my server a few weeks back. what could i be doing wrong?
-
i read somewhere that updating cccaminfophp too often (i.e more than once a day) is bad for your server and peer connections? is this true?
-
hope i can revive this post. the ecms on the "connected servers" page are looking relatively ok but the ecms on the "connected clients" page are zero for all my clients. does that make me a bad peer i.e. i have nothing to offer?
