[the joys of sat tv] as randomly as it started, my problem's been solved. the alleged solution? not installing cccam from the usual suspects in ts panel but rather directly from within the image. hey presto. don't ask me how or why this makes a difference. but it did.

did that. deleted all logs that i didn't recognize in var/. restarted cam. but still no luck.

there's two lines that apply, but none of them point me in the right direction :
DEBUG : yes
#LOG WARNINGS : /media/hdd/warnings.txtor should i set debug to no?

Have you tried a reflash? Dont have a vu but this has happened to me a few times - image just randomly stops working.
-
thanks tom. this is exactly the situation. where is the debug.txt file stored?

:-) i've been through that a couple of times i tell you. but ya, the dhcp is set, so its not that. im really scratching my head coz its nevr happened like this before - usually its the clients not connected.

A couple of days ago just suddenly lost all server connections. Clients still connected fine according to csstudio. Been trying to solve this but now stumped. Port is open fine [canyousee.org], port forwarding rules fine [in router], internet fine [box can d/l from ts panel], cfg file fine [zero'd some problem lines], cccam fine [using 2.1.4], image is fine [reflashed + tried 2 different ones, same issue]..... so any suggestions fellas?

I'm using Filezilla - I can't get in. Yes, the other xml files are in var/tuxbox but the dnc program keeps saying the file is missing from var/tuxbox/config. Will try your suggestions.

I'm trying to copy a stations.xml file (for Dreamnetcast Internet Radio) over to my var/tuxbox/config folder but I can't get in. Folder has permission 777. Any suggestions?

This might come in handy if you use Windows 7 (may apply for other OS) and are forwarding ports. I've just gone through the port changing process. Changed the rules in my router and sorted everything out in my AV firewall but canyouseeme.org still couldn't see my port. I have the Windows firewall disabled on my pc to avoid conflicts with the AV program. But it turns out that this isn't entirely true. After applying inbound port rules in Windows Firewall, everything was up and running instantly. To do this:
- Control panel --> Windows Firewall
- Enter Advanced Settings on left panel
- Click Inbound Rules in left panel then click New Rule in right panel
- Select Port and then Next
- Select TCP and specify the port you want open
- Allow the connection and next and you're done

Makes sense. But what are the RF in/out connections for? And whats weird is I'm getting the analogue channels through.
-
Instead of using the cable company's digital receiver I'm using my DM7020. I don't have the satellite YET for these channels so am running the RF cable into the DM's RF in and then RF out to my TV. BUT I'm only getting the analogue channels though :06:- none of the digital channels are being scanned. My peers confirm my local is working so all channels should be clearing (as the TV has a digital tuner). Any pointers on how to get all channels to show on my TV (without setting up the satellite).

Hi guys I am struggling to stream films from PC to my Dreambox 7025 Enigma2, can someone help me please?
Jimgrim, did you find a solution? did XBMC work for you? -
No stress. You may be on to something though - how do I enable it in cccam.cfg?
-
Stupid question time. I recall my box would show me each time I changed to an encrypted channel which server was handling it. this no longer happens. How do I get it back?

How vulnerable is cccam? I have 2 clients who I've zeroed in my fline i.e. F: username psswrd 0 0 0 { 0:0:0 } (I cant set up my router to block their ips so this was my only option) but they're still connected to me (its over 6 weeks now) and this week I noticed that they're showing as "active" clients. Help.

You're right. Exactly the case - my root folder is full. Methinks its my warnings.txt file - still havent gotten the hang of blocking unwanted advances.

DCC connects to the receiver. Tried restarting but no joy. How do I enter network card?

I'm failing to update my cccam.cfg file. My CSStudio is giving an error message about "HTTP 1.01 not found". I've tried to ftp to the box, but that didnt work. All programs like cccam line manager dont work either. I even tried to chmod permissions to give me access, but it refuses to change the chmod either. Any susggestions?

Ok, I uninstalled gemini 4.7 and updated to openpli. Seems to have done the trick (alng with some cleanup of the webif setting). I wonder why though?
