I have got it working again by uninstalling all of the apps then using the abd tool then update but I've lost all addons on Kodi so I'm now busy finding and installing but the good is it is back working.

Hi, I have the dtv player has stopped problem again. It has been working well since the last time but after I'd been away for 2 weeks I put it on and it was failing all the updates a couple of sites was working but very slow to load then it stopped. I've used the abd tool with no luck. When i look at settings/ apps all cache seem to be clear but on card shows 2.0GB used.
I have the Auto cache cleaner and it says there is no cache to clear.

I've had the same problem (dtv player has stopped) again and after using abd tool and factory reset, abd and update and abd and still dtv player has stopped. After many attempts I resolved it by going to Settings, Apps then going through each app clearing any cache and data then abd tool and success its back up and running again.

hi, I download update I don't unzip just send it usb stick I upgrade box but it doesn't get to "software upgraded successfully", I redo wi fi enter i.p 6 enter,5 enter,4 enter it reboots but doesn't solve poblem. I've tried fatory reset but no improvement. I think I need to find a way to get the update to fully load?
Can I take you up on the teamviewer option next week as I will now be away or a week?

Sorry no luck yet- I've tried with Vista and w7, I tried both ways in both usb ports and I've tried using different usb sticks in case stick was corrupt but still unable to achieve "software upgraded successfully".

No to "software upgraded successfully" That seems to be the problem it reboots a fraction before the end of loading.
I've tried switching on while holding menu button and via settings upgrade.
I am using windows 10 but abd worked before.

I have done that and I get this, when I stop the flashing it finishes loading the rest of icon (kodi etc) then I reconnect wi fi then on p.c click adb tool,d/b batchfile enter 6,5,4 and it reboots and goes back to pic.

When I use databases that you added I get this.

Yes I did that.
In the tut it said make sure you have the latest upgrade so I tried to update but it never seems to fully do this and boots half way through.
What to I do with database file do I add to adb tool?

hi, thanks for the pm but before we go down that route;
By deleting adb then re downloading, adb is back to normal but after doing the 6,5,4 it reboots but doesn't clear the dvplayer not working so can I check that I'm using the right upgrade? Thanks for your help Melv.

The dtv player is no longer responding to the adb tool, when I put I.P in it no longer says this is dangerous it says "adb is not reconized as an internal or external command,operable program or batch file" and if I enter 6 it says done but repeats the above phrase and the same when I enter 5 then 4 and nothing happens. Box does not reboot or responds to adb.

Hi, still no luck, I have followed the instructions carefully (several times now), I've tried redoing update but its stops half way and when I put I.P into abd it says "adb is not reconized as an internal or external command,operable program or batch file".
The SD clean top bar is 1% or the other say 0.0mb.
It comes on saying "unfortunately DTVplayer has stopped " and no matter what I try I can't get it to update or reconize the abd.

It worked for a couple of days then while I was searching for something in SALTS it froze and I had to turn it off and on and unfortunately DTVplayer has stopped came back. So I tried the adb tool but it says adb is not reconized as an internal or external command,operable program or batch file.

Thankyou for your patience, I must of been trying with the wrong abd tool. At first when I put numbers in abd tool it said cannot find box but after a few attempts and some restarts it is now working and says GOOD on the front panel. cheers Melv

Thanks I have done this and it works for only a short time then freezes/crashes and says dtv player stopped then rights itself for a short time then as I try to get something on Kodi it freezes, so I turn off and then on and its back to dtv player not working. I can watch some stuff on NavX ok but when I try others it freezes.Cheers Melv.

Thank you it has worked but maybe not completely, box used to say GOOD but it just black.

Hi thanks for the quick response, I renamed as you said and did the update but still showing dtvplayer has stopped. I'm trying to work out how to do the sd card thing. From the ad I bought:-
