maybe helpfull - hola.org or mediahint.com browser plugin will let you access hulu netflix pandora fox cbs if it is tv you are looking to watch,
for ps3/xbox (any device you can change the dns setting on) you can use tunlr.net
and they are all free to use, if not helpful to you they may be helpful to others.
agree to it ;-)
No. the recordings on the ***+ are encrypted, your VU+ uses a different filesystem, the drive will have to be re formatted to use in the VU+ solo2
you would have to decrypt and convert your current recording to be able to playback on your VU+ Solo2
Stolen from another fourm.... (may not be possible its dependent on the *** box you have/had
QuoteDisplay MoreThe procedure is quite simple (but a little longer) :
1) Extract the .str files with +Extract.
2) Decode with Offline Descrambler 2.50, using a CSA engine (like FFDecsa.dll, MakroCSA.dll o CSA.dll) as CSA Engine (from progdvb binary) and using NCEMUCAM as softcam, of course using a serial smartmouse (in phoenix mode at 3.56 mhz) with a official and active *** smartcard in it.
3) Clean/remux the decoded .str file to an mpeg file with a .ts processor, the ProjectX works perfect for this job (but many other is suitable as well).
This procedure works with mpeg2 files, i can't confirm if it works with Mpeg4-H.264 HD recording of *** HD boxes.
I think that this procedure is legally because you MUST use your ACTIVE smartcard to decrypt the files and the procedure purpose is onyl & simply to re-use your personal recordings, exactly you can with many other satellite receiver with pvr functions (like dreambox or clarke tech).
So what are you trying to do, dare i ask?
if you are clicking save the apply and it is losing its setting re-flash the router
can you explain the vpn usage more please ,would like to try it.
try goggling "how to access bbc iplayer from outside uk" or "vpn to access iplayer" and you will find all of the information you require :-)
the worst thing about the box is the lack of decent channel lists
i would say No 7 day EPG & now and next is not 100%
the difference is with the hardware not the boot loaded, 9000/9200 use the same boot loader 9x00.....
first you have to flash a patched version of the firmware, one you have the firmware installed browse to the ip address of the box and type in your c line..
depend on the your location and domain prefix you require, from free to 1k
just browse to the box ip and type it in :-) (works with the latest patched firmware)
there is a bug in build 118 so it has been set to unstable, just wait until the next build is available. then update...
check it has the execute flag set , telnet to the box, once logged in..
cd /usr/softcams/
ls - l
you should see oscam in this directory oscam should have these flags set -rwxr-xr-x if not use chmod 755 oscam then try to run oscam via telnet ./oscam if it fails post the errors here!
hope it helps
ccam works fine for me, i could not get Newcamd to work, i got mgcam to work but it would freez all of the time, (running local oscam server)
VPN - Correctly configured this will provide you with the best security.
open ports - a good firewall something like pfsense with multiple NICs (Lan cards) or VLANs to create two or three networks (i.E home - web server - ftp server )
Passwords - strong passwords should be 10 digits or greater not containing dictionary words mixed upper and lower case also containing non alphabetical characters (i.e !"£$%^&*()_+=/><>.,:'@#~#) (m1p455w0rd is not a safe password)
only guessing but a VPS is what you need, along with a reasonable understanding of linux ( i.e ssh ) :-)
Though i could be wrong!
Display MoreDone all the steps above and all seems well but stuck here:
6. Browse to your server where you uploaded the files and start using it
I bet its the easiest step out of them all but im a newbie to linux.
If its means my csp webif it won't let me log back into it??
you should have a httpd (web server) running on your Linux box try http://127.0.0.1 in a web browser on the Linux box.
hi all new user sorry i have managed to get mgcamd on the box i want to connect to a newcamd sever i understand you have to put the mg_cfg in var/keys how and where to you ammend the newcamd list port etc sorry nebie please can you guide me been trying for hours thanks sorry have an et5000 xtrend box
newcamd list 'newcamd.list' is a text file in the same directory as the mg_cfg :-) just create it if you don't have one :-) oh and you may have to change the box type to 06 in mg_cfg
