what would be good.
if you were to take a look at the streamboard site,go through the thread.
(you dont have to post) take a look!.
let us know what you think.
would love to budd.
but i cant do that.
they ask not to clutter the thread with thanks, rants, useless garbage,etc,etc.....which is understandable.
if i was to put that up i would feel silly...^^...as i said before i do not understand the details.
when i make a post i like to know what im talking about.
hope this makes sense to you...
i can not contribute,as i do not have that knowledge.
(i really wish i had)........;(;(;(
tks,
its worth taking a look.
pm sent.
sorry budd131.

i would encourage everyone who has the knowledge to give this a go.

quotes from last post.
................................................................................................
As soon as my logging card arrives I'll get logs over an hour or so at
least from a dark channel on both a HD and SD box so that we can compare
logs from both boxes. I'll catch the logs from boot up too that way if
any pairing keys or request keys are dealt with at boot, which I think
does occur as I've booted the box while connected to putty and it shows
booting Linux kernel then loading: 0x80001000/13184116 and
0x80c93c74/74648..................................................................................................
Thanks that would be great.....then with ibizamale's knowledge of videoguard we may find something...maybe..just maybe
it,s getting interesting over on streamboard......
i been watching that thread closely now for a number of days.
if you read through the posts you will see were coders join the thread and are told they will be contacted by pm.
in the pm they are directed to a secure chat room.
so there are a group working in the back ground.
savan was back today, and contributed to the conversations.
below is a copy of what i say above.
(still looking for more coders to help with this - pm for details/access
we are on a secure chat room this forum is too public to respect
privacy.)
i fully respect the mans decision.
i really do johnny,believe me.
i have been following that thread now for a number of days,it,s absolutely fascinating.
more interesting than tv.
the cot beckons.
thats his post,your correct johnny.
i think he plays down his knowledge a bit.
look at what he contribute to that thread.
and hence why valuable members asked him to stay.
a highly respected member working on the patch has announced he aint interested anymore.
apparently he was a big cog in the wheel.
his name is savan.
he has said he does not want to be contacted by pm.
he is gone...
@ paul,,,,,post 169...we know this!!!!..
motrised dish,i believe is the way to go.
im just sorry i did not take the opportunity to go this route before the current situation.
guess i got lazy!!!.so easy to press button on remote control and sit back....
regardless what happens......!!! its back to the drawing board for me.
anyone any pointers for beginner,as regards best sat for 'family, sport, docu,
cheers folks,
i would love a Yes or No.
limbo is the worst place to be.
what i will say is it has been some journey for me.
2006 bought a starview box,had not got a clue how it worked...they went of as peeps know.
then my interest began in earnest.
i did not have an e.mai addy at the time,i had to ask my daughter to set it up for me...(up to this point never used the internet)
it was almost 9 months before my dm500s showed a picture....(its burned into my memory).
Yes means same.
No means we move on.
no matter what happens i would love to thank the folks who took me to this height,s,it,s been fantastic.
from this forum support been brilliant.
just wonder if administration would open thread with no links, but just names to the guy,s and girls that made it possible.
No Matter what the outcome they should all be thanked.
sorry guys could not resist.
