hi,
i have been trying to scan for the new channel utvbe3....i have vu zero 4.2.023.
tried rats channel updater,Autobouquets E2 and did a automatic scan but had no luck.
anyone any ideas.
the hen is going crazy.its only a one hour fire door that seperates me from the missus,
i reckon i have about half hour before she manages to get through it.

have vu zero with vix 23.
i downloaded the latest tsmedia and followed the tuts correctly.
i deleted olf file and installed new.
now when i go into tsmedia it,s a nightmare.for instance when im in 1 channell the remote is brutally sluggish.
when i scroll from left to right nothing will happen then suddenly the white marker used to highlight the film of your choice wiil end up
some were else. in order for me to exit tsmedia i have to reboot box.
i have uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times and i still have the same situation.
as i type im stuck in tsmedia the last 10 mins.
the box has not crashed so far so i have no crash logs.

ok,got it sorted.
i feel really soooooooooooo stupid here,it,s embarrassing for me to say this.
my remote batteries are on the way out.
yea i know what your going to say,but i did check the remote using my phone.
they looked ok then but i put new ones in 5 mins ago and all is ok.
i apologise mfaraj57 for questioning the quality work you provide.........................i feel like bending over and biting of part of my anatomy....

the xorion worked first time for me,size was set at 1280 and 720.
i did not know were the file was sent to.
also i never rebooted the box or removed my origional boot logo.

Look for the .mvi files

i see them in share now jensen.

thanks jensen i got it to work.
i deleted the bootlogo that was working.
and the new one kicked in.
been at this since about 5.30 today.
i know nothing about this stuff,totally useless i am,thats why it took so long.
but the satisfaction is great when you see the result in front of your eyes.

just playing around here this evening.
i managed to create a boot logo [be it very basic consisting of four letters].
been googling like crazy here all evening.
these 3 items are what i used to complete my logo.
xorion bootlogo matix......paint net.....cool text.
i filled out the necessary fields xorion and clicked on send converted logos.
it said they were successfully sent.
im confused now as i cant find it anywere.
i even looked under the table.
can someone give me a heads up here please.

i deleted one,i have a full backup made so its not a big issue.
the one i deleted is the second one on the list.
i kept the one in user/share/enigma2/picon
the reason i kept it was because when i went in there there was a small box picture beside each line of information.
the one i deleted only had a little finger symbol pointing towards each line.
i hope that makes sense.....LOL

abu,its fine i just checked,i use rats picon updater.
i deleted them and they were removed.
i then reinstalled them restarted GUI and there all back.

ok abu,just did not want to delete anything untill someone confirmed it.

and when i telnet this command..(find / -name picon)..below is what appeared.

/user/share/enigma2/picon
/picon

those this indicate i have two picon folders.should i not have one??.
if i should have only one (think there should be one),which one should i delete.

im picking them up here also...(ROI)

hi,can someone confirm if plugin feeds are down at the moment.
when i press green to download plugins all i get is a black screen.
it just hangs there.
im on the 4.2.022 release.
i changed skins from skyQ TO confluence 1080,only this morning.

in my post 355,is your problem similar to the one i was having.

yea buddy,have it set to 16 and i had info bar set to no.
been trying different things in channel list menu.
would love to have it setup like your first picture above in your last post.

i had been in those settings already,i would like to have picons showing.
i have been through this whole thread today and i have seen images something close to mine but the middle box is much wider and it shows picons and a summary of what is showing.
but i dont seem to be able to find a setting that will allow me to do that,
post 352 above looks great..

anyone help me here please.

as you can see from the screen grab,this is not the ideal setup.
the time bar is covering the channel names.
i have seen images in the thread were this is not so.
can someone give me a dig out please.

would you have to have a 4k tv to enjoy the full benefit of this box.and what would be the best image for this box.

sorry guys but problem back this morning.
so certain it aint tsmedia
i did however do a software update last night and went from 4.2.017 to 4.2.018
so it looks as if i have to go to menu/restart to prevent this from happing.

i had the same problem as you know from my thread.
i to was confused over this,abu check logs and gave the all clear.
yesterday i did an update to tsmedia and the problem reappeared.so this is what i did!!!
after the update..blue/vix/install local extensions/the tsmedia update was still there,so i deleted it using ftp in tmp.
then menu/standby and restart/restart.
since then i have had no problems.

i dont have a clue as to why it worked but it is all good so far.
i am beginning to wonder if i was installing the updates for tsmedia incorrectly.
