hello bro. i have this setup working fine, but i have one problem with [service SID] both afn and mtn ww package have eight of the same SID and i have both services locking on my stb. SID= [0066= MTN MSNBC ==AFN PRIME ATLANTIC], [0067=MTN FOXNEWS ==AFN NEWS], [0068=MTN CNBC ==AFN SPORTS 1], [0069=MTN SKYNEWS ==AFN PRIME PACIFIC], [006A=MTN BBCNEWS ==AFN SPECTRUM], [006B=MTN PRIME JOUNEY ==AFN SPORTS 2], [006C= MTN SKYPORTS NEWS ==AFN FAMILY], [006D=MTN SPORTS24 ==AFN MOVIES]. so i have to change the caheex lines to "0" on AFN reader before the eight mtn ww channels can be clear. i have try some others idea but no result. please i need some expert help here. thanks

I think best solution for Now to install both Ncam and Oscam
Ncam to open AFN and put cacheex = 1 in emu reader
Oscam for other PowerVu Channels and BISS and others
This is not necessary.
To overcome the problem of other emu channels not working with cacheex enabled, do the following.
1. Create an oscam.services file with:
Code[afn] caid = 0E00 provid = 000000 srvid = 0066,0067,0068,0069,006A,006B,006C,006D(or add to existing file - making sure "afn" does not already exist...)
2. Create a second emu reader. The oscam.server entries should look something like this simplified example:

This can also all be done through the webif...Note: Some boxes/images do not need the cacheex enabled. So this is ONLY for boxes/images which need cacheex enabled in order for the afn channels to clear.
Note 2: This method also works for tvheadend...
Note 3: If you have some other powervu channels which use the same srvid as one of the afn channels, they will probably not work. (thanks to nautilus7 for reminder...)
thanks sir. yes is true if the same srvid is use by two difference channels from difference provider one of the channels will not work, like afn movie and mtn sports 24 both used 006d after I remove this from afn service sports 24 clear, so I don't know what be the solution for this.

hello master G. thanks for your leadership, the last time I ask for help to setup card sharing with a local cable card but I didn't continue the quest due to some setback. and now I want to begin the journey. to start with I already plug my card in my box and is clearing all the channels. all I need now is to have a setup to run on my other receivers. thanks

You can`t view powervu with regular oscam, you need oscam-emu with updated keys..
Which cable card do you have ?
Which linux receiver do you have ?
Which image / firmware is on it ?
Once we have the above info, we can direct you to the correct oscam-emu..
You can check the log on the oscam web interface which should give us some details about your card, then we can give you some configs to try..
Thanks master G. I have DM 800 hd se with open atv image on it and solo pro v3 with openpli image I think this one is a clone box. The card I m using is conax CA use by some local cable company but the are using ku-band modulator. So you can use any satellite receiver to get them. Do I have to log from pc or my receiver? Don't var me I m here learn.

Is good to ask for directions to find your will out. I being around for a wild reading through the forum, is little bit harder to understand everything as one. This is my first time to work with Linux receivers so I m little bit out of line in this zone. I m trying to get Oscam but I need to know where to start from, as a new user to Oscam what you have to do to start using Oscam for the first time? The are two reason why I want to start using Oscam for what I have read so far, I want to use Oscam to view powervu channels, and I have some local cable company smart card that I m using in some FTA receivers that I want to share within my compound to family, these cards are free to use with any receiver But the don't have any info on Oscam website, so I need the right files and step to work with. Hello friends, pls I m a newbie on this hobby, I have a b**nsports card from my foulty receiver that I want to use on my dm-800hd se v2 internal reader, I m running open atv on the box, I need the right Oscam.server and cccam cfg that will work with the card on the box.
