Hi,
Ive got openatv 5.1 on my alien 8900 SHD, I noticed if i put the tv off or change input for a few seconds that when i try to go back to the HDMI input that the alien is on there is no longer any video signal.
The tv says no signal and only after rebooting the stb with the switch on the back does it come back,
Ive got openatv 5.1 on it but I am going back to 4.2/
any ideas bout this?

My alien will boot up on HDMI but when it nearly boots up fully the screen goes blank.
Is there anyway of factory resetting this device on startup?
Changing HDMI leads doesnt work and i cant see anything.

Hi,
Ive got an amiko alien shd 8900, with open ATV 4.2 on it, Ive got the softcam panel and its setup options in the extensions menu.
It shows under Softcam Panel V2.0 select cam 1, no cam installed. On moving the arrow right on select cam, it gives the option of CCam_230.
I can start the service but I havent used filezilla yet to port my standard Cline over.
How do I go about getting my cline working on this STB?
