I'm not sure it can be, I've gone through all my channels that open with OSCam and to be fair most of them are opening without any issue, it is just a couple of disc channels that are not. The same configs have been used for months without any issue on the old Vix image i had been using. I have changed today to OpenATV 5.3 and they just don't seem to want to open.
My tuner setup is just one fixed (single) dish.

This is what i'm getting Master G. Just scanned in latest transponders aswell with no luck. Must be some sort of oscam issue as the config files are exactly the same as I was using on the openvix image.

It looks a great image but need to ask a couple of Q's if you don't mind.
I've done a full scan tonight, but a very small amount of channels like disc on 28.2 through oscam are not coming through, I have checked additional last scanned channels in case that was the issue but that has not helped. Others channels through oscam are working fine, it's just one or two channels not clearing.
Is there an issue with Oscam? These channels were working fine on the Vix image I was using only yesterday.
Also is there an issue with linus support addons? I'm trying to get the latest bouquets as the catseye channel list has now lost channels. Everytime I try to use it there is an error addons download failure, internet connection or server down?
Morning Master G. Today have flashed your OpenATV 5.3 backup, looks great so far.
Just trying to work out where i'm ftp'ing my oscam server and user files - i thought it was in etc/tuxbox/config? Can't seem to see any oscam files in there just wondered if they have moved somewhere else?
Also I noticed the epg has got alot different, do i need to set that up from now on or does it update automatically?
Sorry Master G, I should have meant is there anything else I should backup.
Also what is the best image in your opinion?
Hello All, I have been using an old backup image for a while now, image is OpenViX 3.2 Vu+ Solo 4k Backup By master G.
Anyway, over the last few months online updates seem to have stopped working and not sure why.
1. Can anyone explain why this has stopped working?
2. Do I need to update the image?
3. How to I go about saving my channel list?
4. Is there anything else I need to know?

Is there any chance in your opinion that it is possible to find a hidden transponder for the boxing somewhere out there on 28.2? I've just downloaded latest catseye channel list and done a service scan, just going through all the numbered channels hoping to find the boxing somewhere.

I'm looking to try and mess with this box to try and access the UK ppv heavyweight boxing tonight on a blind scan, not sure even if that is how you find some random transponder/channel but just guessed it could be. Anyway, please correct me if I'm wrong. I'm trying to do a blind scan and when I head to the setting all I get is "please set up your tuner config".
My tuner settings is my dish directly pointing at 28.2, 100% SNR on majority of channels there. Only have one tuner config'd, looking at Vix 3.2 image settings, config is simple, mode, simple, sat 28.2, send diseqc no.
Can anyone suggest any advice? Please don't say buy the ppv lol :)

My only copy of epg is saved on my USB drive. I did delete the last lot as you suggested (when i first got the problem) but that did not fix the issue.
Possibly it was just having open tv and the xml selected but not downloading at the same time. I will see what happens this week with just xml rytec selected.
So far all is well again.

Can't do that now, my box has not rebooted correctly. (I went into terminal again to re-do the process in case i did it wrong) It just seems frozen now, tv screen is blank, front of the VU screen is solid white. What is the best course of action here?

Update, I got the box working again.
However, when trying to download the Open TV listings, I just get a warning screen saying -
Cross epg error - no valid NIM found

Master G, i really need your help here.
I have got the downloader for Open TV running again on itv hd, it works for approx 20 seconds. When I check the now and next it seems it brings up all the freeview channels but not the sky channels. Should that happen or is there a way around this please?

Ok, have just gone back into epg settings on VIX image this morning.
For anyone having the same non-epg updating issue it must be something to do with Open TV being selected along with the XML TV providers. The VIX manual said it was possible to use both Open TV and XML TV providers as long as they was not set for download at the same time, so I guess it just doesn't work on the VU+ 4K (perhaps)
I just deselected the Open TV providers (as everytime I have used Open TV, it just isn't giving me the data for any subscription channels on 28.2) then selected Rytec UK XML TV then downloaded as my only choice of provider. Took around five minutes to download the data but I now have full epg data for everything on 28.2.
I will monitor it for the next three days, use Master G's terminal code to delete and start the process again. Thanks for the help Master G. Surely there should be an easier way to update epg constantly and delete?
Chris, I have had issues on my Solo 4K.
Check in setup/epg to see which providers you have selected.

Ok, that rebooted enigma so looks like everything should be working.
Then I went into open tv and downloaded on sky premier but just checked the epg, still not showing much.

The last time I used telnet was through my mac when you first did the blackhole backup, now I am using the VIX do I have to change some settings?

I'm sorry Master G, but I just cannot get this working correctly. It was fine for the first three days, then now i'm hardly getting anything. Can I possibly ask a few questions that are not covered here please?
1. What size memory stick (FAT32'd of course) is a mimumum here? I'm using 128gb.
2. Does the epg data automatically get deleted after a selected period of days?
3. If no to the above, is there a way to delete/format, possibly plugin etc rather than take stick out?
4. I'm using Rytec UK XML TV provider importing at 19:30 and open Sky UK Open TV importing at 19.00, is that right?

Master G, For the last three days my epg has been perfect. However, today it is missing alot of data on the now and next on subscription channels. I have done everything exactly to the VIX manual. I have checked the information device for the USB stick I am using and it says that is full! 128gb USB stick! What is the process here, doesn't this image delete the old data automatically or is that a process that isn't covered in the manual?
