Ok, I have been messing around with this box and would appreciate some help with a few questions, if anyone would like to help.

Webradio Player - How to place a M3U file into the webradio player –
Where to locate online links for m3u radio feeds, such as proton radio.

Splash Screen - How to change the splash screen when you turn the box on.

Clock on Standby - How to change the font, colour, size of the clock on standby.

BBCI player for on demand, is this possible? The problem I have here is everytime I try to use XBMC and I search for most popular on Iplayer it just state 'working' and then just hangs frozen.

The thing what i've noticed is that open tv is only downloading the fta channels, not subscription. Is that how OpenTV epg works or is something wrong there.

I have that all working fine at present. One final thing if anyone can help. I have edited my channel list and moved the regiional channels into my boquets, however on the epg now and next it is showing the regional bbc / itv etc channels but sandwiched in between foreign channels for some reason.

Is there a way to update this so everything is in place?

Master G. I am in the process of reading the manual and trying to sort out the epg settings. I noticed there is nothing regarding the best cross epg - providers and which one i should select for 28.2.

What are the best options here regarding XMLTV Providers / OpenTV providers / XEPGDB Providers? I know it refers in the manual not to use to many different ones but which one is the best to use?

I have found another issue today which I cannot seem to sort out myself regarding the epg. The fta channels are seeming to update as per normal but the subscription channels on 28.2 don't seem to update. Is there anyway around this please?

Today I am trying to get the football running through the TS Media section, however I cannot seem to get NBC Xtra to work. I have installed it and can selecting the liverpool game but all I get is: Error: Addon error, no returned data, check details with info button.

One's I tried were Catseye Europe 19.12.15 then I tried Catseye All Sats 20.12.15.

I have no idea where the picons are, the list inside the picons addon lists that many choice, does it have a name?

I have just updated using the catseye but now I have another issue. The channels Watch, Dave, Gold, Alibi, Good Food, Really, Drama, Home + other are all appearing as N/A and are greyed out. When selected it just comes up as service unavailnle, check tuner config. Other channels are working as norm.

Also I have now lost some of the picons like Channel 4 HD, BBC four, Dmax, TLC+1, BT sport 1HD and some others are not appearing. I tried using the rats picon updater 1.2 but that didn't change anything.

Can't seem to get itv hd workin either.

Say for instance i'm watching sports on 28.2 with no issue then turn that box off and connect the VU box.

Would the VU box, from a fresh image flash move the dish at all from when i put the usuals positioner info in?

I'm sure the dish shouldn't move but something has definately caused the dish to move today or something to do with the tuner.

Hello All.

I'm pretty new to all these Linux boxes, but thought for IPTV, skins, epg and other cool features I thought I would make the move from my old Protek box.

It's been a bit of a learning curve but thanks to master g and his VU BH 3.0 backup image I managed to get up and running. I even got oscam up and running with was nice.

I wanted to ask a few questions about upgrading the image and general questions regarding how good the tuners are on these boxes. Today I uploaded the vix image and somehow I now have no signal on 28.2. Baring in mind I have a motorised setup I have not moved the dish or motor and brough a horizon meter to find tune the protek box.

When I clicked on vix satfinder it said 19.2e, i then selected 28.2 but when i look on signal there is none, when i tried a scan it didn't pick anything up - it must have moved the position of the dish. I have now had to put the protek box back on and re-jig the dish which is annoying to say the least.

Regarding images, the masterg backup I was using, if i want to upgrade do I only need to reflash another image? I'm just asking as I see many posts about blackhole image B, C and wondered if each image updates latest drivers etc.

Ok, I used Rats Picon Updated and looked for where these picon folders are.

I found a couple and so deleted the ones I didn't need. I then placed the folder in media/usb/picon. I reset engima and the picons started working again.

However, Turned the box off last night, and have turned it on again and picons again have disappeared!

Checked out rats picon updated and it seems that another couple of folders have now been created. The folders are being found in /autofs/mmcblk0p4/media/usb/picon also /autofs/mmcblk0p4/usr/share/engima2/picon and the one where I put the last one media/usb/picon

Any advice please?

Just deleted the one via filezilla then restarted enigma but still no picons showing!

I've found another picon folder in the media/usb folder master g, which one should i delete as you told me before to FTP the updated Picons 28.2E Transparent Frame 220x132_32bit_by_oktus folder to /usr/share/enigma2

Sorry for delay, have been in vegas for the boxing.

Have just checked filezilla for the picon folder, it's still there and inside are only the individual png files.

There are no picon displaying correctly anymore, which is strange as it was working two weeks ago.

Can Anyone help on this?

I seem to be getting somewhere with all the settings and adjustments you have helped me with so thank you.

The only issue I seem to be having is tonight I have lost the picons from the menubar, they are not showing anywhere. I have resent the picons folder via ftp again to see if it was that but still no picons showing. Strange as they worked before.
