For some reason those alkass logos are really bugging me :derpthink:
Its the mixture of fonts. Some are Impact and some are HaettenschweilerHaving looked on https://www.alkass.net they seem to use impact for all now.

er...you are quoting a post from 3 years ago.
I don't think the epg mod works anymore. But to answer your questions open q=epg.xml look for the screenname called <screen name="GraphicalEPGPIG"
replace that entire screen with the provided text.

KiddaC , cheers thanks for the information, yes I can understand on deletion of a plugin you do not want remnants left
I am no enigma2 expert :derpthink:but I presume updating a plugin, removes the previous version first and therefore kicks in the postrm file.
-
i have a postrm file.
Bash#!/bin/sh rm -rf /etc/enigma2/jediplaylists/playlist_all.json > /dev/null 2>&1 rm -rf /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/JediMakerXtream > /dev/null 2>&1 rm -rf /etc/enigma2/*jmx*.* > /dev/null 2>&1 rm -rf /etc/epgimport/*jmx*.* > /dev/null 2>&1 sed -i '/jmx/d' /etc/enigma2/bouquets.tv echo "Restart GUI to finish uninstall!" sleep 10 exit 0And yes it has stuck around because of problems in the past when files were constantly changing.
There is probably zero need to have it anymore.. Although me personally when I delete a plugin I like all bits of that plugin removed.
I have deleted my control files now. So in any future releases there will be no need to backup any files. -
JediMakerXtream V6.20
New files on post 1
Ok there was a slight balls up last release. It wasn't fully tested. It has been now.Fixed python3 external / local files.

The problem is, some images allow both python 2.7 and python 3 libraries.
Which cause confusion in which library to use.
So at the moment the easiest solution is just to manually install problem dependancies.
I need to have a look at my dependancies in all my plugins, especially as multiprocessing library seems to cause chaos in python 3.9 -
All the required dependancies is becoming a bit of a nightmare with python 2.7, python 3.8 and python 3.9
So you need to manual install multiprocessing for this plugin.
telnet/putty this command
opkg install python-multiprocessing

er.... not out the box.
You can edit usr/share/enigma2/slyk-q-1080/q-menus.xml
delete all the graphics inside the screen

or take the panel out of the menu screen

to be honest, i don't think I have ever tested python 3 with a m3u8 playlist in jedi.
I will add it to my to do list. But yes you are correct. Python 3 converts everything to bytes, where as python 2 is less fuzzy.
So there might me an encoding/decoding issue somewhere around this bit of code. -

I have a dinobot 4k which is also a hybrid.
Looking at youtube this box functions in the exact same way.
As show about 9:34 on that video. On rebooting box. You have an option of pressing red button to load android.
or blue button to load Enigma2.
Then next time you fully reboot your box, if no buttons are pressed within a fex seconds it loads the last loaded image.Enigma2 has a soft standby, but to be honest I never use it. I just leave my sat box on on a free to air channel.
This box is a quad core processor. So it is a fast box. Even loading it up from off only takes a very short time.
