Yeah all builds are pretty much the same to install.

In my waffle blog, I wrote a step by step guide for installing openatv as I was updating it myself. Cams are a bit faffier on openatv, but I have given instructions on how to do it.

Can I ask why you are installing openpli.

It's is a bit of a bare bones build openpli and you need to have a bit of no how to make it play nicely. Other builds like openatv, openvix, pure2 have most of the elements you need to run the majority of plugins easily without having to source everything you need.

Added in the temp fix from last week, for fixing the 2 main reported crashes

Fixed some logic in the creation and updating of bouquets. I think the temporary fix last week was muddling up bouquets on an auto update.

Added in a complete fallback for any provider using very old xtream panels. (note: if your provider is using a very old panel, this will be slower than normal. Should now work though).

I have changed quite a bit of code, so it might not be 100% error free. I only had 1 provider (using an older panel) that I could actually test all this new code with.

So good he said it twice. :)

More importantly is this going to break existing skins and plugins. :scundered:

I have just loaded up slyk 1080 r19 latest version and amended the extras.xml file to that setting. and all seems to be displaying correctly.

are you getting a "later" value in channel select screen.

What image are you using. OpenAtv, OpenVix... other.?

Have you got epg importer fully set up and saving to usb or hdd.
Have you done an epg importer manual scan recently.

This is already set to 3. So I presume you are on vix. (that does wierd things)

You can try deleting that entire line to see if your box changes. NumberOfRows="3"

No. gigiblue receiver is an enigma2 based box.

Sky go app is an android app.

You cannot use an android app on an enigma2 only receiver.

Could you use it on a hybrid box that has both android and enigma2. i.e a dinobot 4k.

I don't know. Never tried it.

Well like the original post, sometimes you need openwebif or an app, because your main computer rig is in your study , and your tv and box is in the other room.

Which is basically my entire life of living on openwebif. ;) I don't even know what watching tv is.

Use an enimga2 remote control app on your mobile phone instead. ;)

I don't know who is author of the IPK package, but it's done wrong. There are no dependencies in it added. So, this IPK works only in OpenATV 6.3, which is of course stupid, because this plugin is directly included in OpenATV 6.3 already.

When openatv implemented file commander for openatv 6.3, there was a ton of commits where they changed lots of modules and screens to incorporate it.

I don't think its is meant to be a seperate IPK at all.
But its one of the first things I delete of my box, its a hackers paradise for anyone that opens up their box to be accessed externally.

It probably isn't powerful enough to run IPTV.

Your image openatv 5.1 is also very old. We are now on openatv 6.3

Treat yourself and buy a new satellite box £60 - £100

You are going to struggle to do anything on that old box.
