I will have to see how epgimporter are doing this.

I just noticed that SayyiD has updated e-channelizer with my request to change the king of sat lamedb file to the short proper sky names. Good man. :thumbup:

To dowload latest sky28.2e lamedb file for people that don't have their own.
Open latest e-channelizer.
Click Home, download, kingofsat, next
Select Astra 2E/2G/2F.
Select Finished
Select Save as. Select a folder on your PC.
Copy lamedb file over to etc/enigma2/slykepg7day
change type= to m3u
Nope it's still broken for me.
On my computer it is trying to download them to my windows\system32 folder ???
Thats why they are failing.
For anyone who reads their debug files, some tiny bit of data corrupts nearly every run.
I do not know if this is bad data from their end, or bad code my end.
Either way I catch it and ignore it. So don't worry about that problem.
It doesn't seem to affect anything.

Better rules for picking up nearly all Virgin channels.
Ignorelist been added as an editable file in /etc/enigma2/SlykEpg7day/ignore-list.txt
virgin-replacments.txt can be amended in /etc/enigma2/SlykEpg7day/virgin-replacements.txt (use the actual name not the short picon name)
If editting any of the above 2 files please make sure it is valid by checking it in jsonlint.com
Also do not delete these 2 files. Clear the contents if you must, but don't delete the files.
On running the program I have moved the save settings function to the end of the process to help eliminate a crash
I have disabled the coloured buttons on start, as you could press them twice and the program would do weird things.
For those with the backports or lzma python module, the program schedules will now be compressed in xz format. Saving you about 30mb in space.
And for those who wish to see what channels are in their lamedb files. (excluding the channels I am ignoring). There is also a new folder now called output in.
/etc/enigma2/SlykEpg7Day.
These csv files can be opened in Microsoft excel for easy reading.
And sorry I wont be doing the saorview channels. I think that would clash with my virgin code.

Then you will get a new option in plugin download menu. Called softcams.
I had a similar problem with an older (premium version).
The import picons failed.
Haven't tried it on the very latest version to see if it is still an issue.

Warning this may not work on older boxes due to the amount of processing it is doing.
Plugin to download official Sky UK EPG via your enigma2 box using epg importer.
Can also populate UK Cable/Virgin EPG.
How to use.
The program uses Sat 28.2e lamedb file to get the service refs for the downloaded EPG data.
I highly recommend you do a satellite scan to get an up to date lamedb file first.
UK Sat -->
openatv - menu/setup/service searching/manual scan/type of scan - single satellite 28.2e
or
Auto Bouquets - select your region in HD and do a scan.

Download and install the IPK
Reboot gui.
Run the slykepg7day plugin which can be found in the plugins menu or in the same menu you find epgimporter (varies per box)
Set the auto update time to be about 10 mins before your epgimporter automatic update. Use a random time and not 7am or 8am etc.
Select the number of days you want. 1 to 7.
Press green to save your settings.
Press Yellow to start download.
Go into epgimporter plugin. Unselect all Rytec UK sources. Select SlykEPG7day.
Save. Run manual scan. Should get about 100000-170000 events.
Check your EPG either via epg guide or channel select or any of the other EPGs we now have.
There is a Cable/Virgin replacement file in /etc/enigma2/SlykEpg7day/virgin-replacements.txt
You can edit the virgin values in there (left), to match Sky Values (right)
Tell me the good, the bad, the ugly.
If its taking longer than 5 mins and your box seems unresponsive. The plugin has probably crashed.
On a fast box it should take about 1m 30s to 2mins. Depending on the speed of your internet. I have not tested it on a slow box.
You will need to turn your box off and on to get out of it.
We don't mention IPTV providers by name on satellite forums. You should edit your orignal post.
There are many plugins available for IPTV on enigma2
My own - jedi maker xtream

lululla - xc lite
XC Plugin Lite "Passion" v1.0 MultiServer
Suls E2m3u2bouquet (google it)
xtream's own plugins (which aren't the best)
and several others.
Most if not all iptv will play with these plugins either by their own in built player or via enigma2 bouquet creation.
V****s is different in that it uses it's own custom APIs. So the standard way all these iptv plugins work, means v****s it is not compatible with the majority of enigma2 plugins.
Some plugins have tried to incorporate it, but most haven't because its not worth the effort for one provider.
The other one you mention is a standard xtream iptv playlist and will play in all plugins.
And actually most providers do mention enigma2 installation via one of the above plugins or via a telnet script which makes the bouquets for you.
DANNYPS4 is probably the man to ask about the oscam side of things. I think from reading his other post you might need to root the android setup. I don't know how to do that.
I can get cccam and newcamd working on android using manual input or via a keys file.
But never tried an oscam like you would get on the enigma2 side of things.
as far as i am aware the boots are seperate. I have all my fhd skins loaded on my dinobot. I don't see how it can effect the android side. But then again i use an openatv build. No idea what crazy things openpli do.

Your first post you say you have updated android and all is working. Yes?
So you were able to boot into android with the red button on boot up. Yes?
I think you now say your problem is you have installed an FHD skin on the enigma2 boot. Yes?
This skin works in Enigma2. But now you cannot get into android.
You have to do a full reboot to switch operating system. When it says menu on the display. You press red for android.
Is the LCD/LED updating but you have a black screen (maybe because of the skin)
If so, do as mentioned above when the display says "menu"
and if you want your hidden cam menu, you go into live tv app.
press menu then 2 5 8 0

So I don't know how you enter this keypad code. :)
What do you mean by android doesn't start?
If its the same as the dinobot 4k, then on a reboot, you press red button for android, or blue button for enigma2.
oscam for android. It can be done. I haven't done it.
Where have I seen a post to enable you to do that????

sandman_1983 I am a little busy with my own plugins at the moment. Therefore I probably won't be making any other amends to any of Kashmirs plugins in the immediate future. I have other priorities. But other coders are quite welcome to address your FHD skin issues ;)
When I did the full hd version, I rounded up the figures making the list 2 pixels too short.
Now fixed.
Also amended the dual translation to both be the same size.

Once you have put in your details in the correct file, you also have to make sure your softcam is started.
