Yes but as outlined in the other thread.

The estuary skin is wrong for this page as you cannot see what is already assigned to that button.

It needs that main list shortening to make room for the additional selected list.

an example from my onyx skin.

    notice the widget "choosen"

    Jedi maker xtream v.4.14

    New file on post 1.

seagen has been testing catchup on multiple images to try and get it working on them all.

Please continue to report any crashes or bugs.

Yes its the same on openatv.

You don't need to restart your box though on openatv.

You would just select the button you want.

Depending on the skin it will show you a list of assigned buttons. (naughty skinner :) )

    4335c187.png

You would press channel up or down to switch to the assigned buttons. As mentioned in the descriptive text.
Press OK to clear. In my example "zap up"

press channel up or down to go back to main list.

    Select your new button.

bestman22 I think you need to understand, most oe-alliance builds like openatv, openvix, pure2 are actually simpler to use than openpli. They are just different.

Lose your openpli mind set, and embrace a different build. It may be a little confusing because its different from what you are used to, but once you GET IT, you will probably never go back to openpli.

I know these boxes pretty will, but I wont use openpli as its too bare bones, and everything just seems to be a chore to do anything. More modern builds have all the plugins and functions you need.

Jedi Maker Xtream V4.11 - Now with Jedi Catchup
    **New File on Post 1**

    So whats new.

2 new options in the main settings.

    7b449d0b27d97c8b.png

This will prefix any channels that have Catchup from your provider with a symbol of your choice. Note: a lot of IPTV providers do not have catchup.

    1b61f226e05a4ebc21885a7cf.png

Then in any of the EPGs... Graphical EPG, Infobar EPG, MultiEPG(Now,next, more), but not Vertical EPG and unfortunately not Channel Select.

You can trigger the Catchup plugin by pressing the Favourite / Stop / List / FileList / PVR / Record List / Button on your remote.

Just highlight the channel you want in the EPG and press FAV, you don't even need to zap to it.

    35fe47cc580f.png

Select the date or all available catchup to show the Catchup listings.

    6f7510967.png

Press OK on a listing will open it up in Movie Player. (where you can play/pause/seek etc)

    28d9ec9e4.png

Press exit button to leave movie player catchup.

openatv/openvix/pure2 skins will not fully work on openpli and openpli skins will not fully work on openatv/openvix/pure2.

Some of the screen names and components are completely different. Some will display incorrectly others will crash.

So if using openpli you have to look for specific openpli skins. If openpli is anything like other images even some of the skins in the feeds will now be old and incompatible.

Also there has been lots of changes over the last 12 months regarding skins. If the skins you are trying to install are old, they might not have been updated by the author to work on modern images.

The skins should still show in your skins menu though. Although if selected might the skin might not load and just default back to default skin.

    SlykEpg7day V1.12

    new file on post 1

Picks up regional itv/stv channels whether standard lamedb file used or whether abm lamedb file used. (refs for this are now in a new file called "manual-refs". May be subject to change.

Also now has ITV, ITV HD, ITV +1, STV, STV HD for cable. STV just being Scottish West.

A little bug that a can't be bother fixing is it seems some regions also bring in ITV London + 1, as well as its own ITV +1.

This causes ITV London + 1, to show local region instead. Unless of course your are a Londoner. No big deal.

Added in further checks to prevent any more unicode errors. I know why this happens. json files are unicode. Edit the json file. It writes UTF. So we end up with a mxture of encoding.

Please tell me this now all works. :laugh1:

@s3n0 everything you mention above is what I am trying to overcome with this plugin.

We are trying to get everything done on your enigma2 box without the need for any other process or plugin other than requiring epg importer.

No need for external import of epg.dat

No need to upload/download from external server.

    No need for epg refresh.

No need for over the air EPG which isn't the max 7 days but just a snippet.

    No need for webgrabplus.

No need to rely on Rytec or autoboquet maker which isn't always 100% up to date.

An EPG that can also possible be used for IPTV channels and not just Sat/Cable.

We are very nearly there. :eye-tongue:

IPTV providers provide there playlists in many different formats. That can be used on your PC, android device, enigma2 box, Mag Box etc.

    For example.

A Mag box will require you to give your provider your MAC address and then you just enter your username and password. Bleugh!

A providers might have there own android app that is specifically coded just for their streams. Again you just need username and password for this. Bleugh!

For enigma2 a provider might give you a script that you have to telnet into your box, that will than create your channel bouquets (folders). Bleugh!

To convert this script to use in enigma2 iptv plugins there is details in the 2nd post of my Jedi Maker Xtream Plugin.
JEDI MAKER XTREAM (IPTV Bouquet Creator)

In your first video it mentions xtream-editor. This is a paid service and not required to view IPTV services on Enigma2 boxes.

So how do you get IPTV services to play on Enigma2 boxes.

Well there are many different plugins that all offer various ways to do that. Whether my very own Jedi Maker xtrean, XC plugin lite, e23u2bouquet, all4one etc.

The common thing with all these enigma2 plugins is you need 3 pieces of information not 2.

You need the domain and port, username and password.

    domain: https://serveraddress:port

    username: user

    password: pass

If you provider has not given you the domain an port address and only given you a username and password, Inform them you wish to use it on a PC in VLC player.

They then should give you a URL to use in VLC player.

If they refuse to give you a URL, then use another provider. Simple as that.

For learning how to use enigma2 iptv plugins you don't necessarily have to get a 24 hour trial. By the time you have finished faffing your trial could be up. And you might not get chance to test your provider properly and you won't be able to get another 24 hour trial. Your 24hr trial starts from the moment your provider sends it you. 24 hours after this your trial is over. Its not 24hrs of use.

So I recommend just googling "IPTV Daily" and find some iptv blogs. These might not necessarily play. Due to max user limits. But they will load into the plugins so you can learn the process.

You can always test hacked iptv lines to see if they are still active in my IPTV checker.
*NEW* IPTV Stream Checker V.3.03 Deluxe Edition by KiddaC

So back to using my jedi maker xtream plugin. The video you have posted is old, but still outlines the process of adding your IPTV details into my plugin. i.e inputting domain, username, password.

Once you have added your playlist. Its just a case of then going into that playlist. Pressing OK, selecting your categories. Creating bouquets.

Once it has created the channel bouquets, you exit out of the plugin completely. Go into your channel bouquets (TV button). Pressing blue button (favourites), to list all the channel bouquets. Select your stream and play it.

In default settings for my plugin the EPG will only be populated from your providers EPG files. If it has any. Usually not the best.

If you are UK based and want to try and match RYTECs EPG. which is what is used to populate over the air EPG, then you can select these options when creating your bouquets.

ABM is doing a sat scan which is a lot more compicated than what I am doing.

for example I download ITV granada data with ref 6130. This is the same ID used in ABM.

But there is no cross reference to this in the lamedb file at all. If there was my job is easy.

I think I might of sorted it any way. Just doing some testing now.

How can we get epg for the correct itv and bbc region ?

This is coming in the next version. BBC should already be correct anyway.

Over the last couple of days I have been plumbing in.

Option to compress programme data or not as a choice.
Option to pick your main sky region locality.

Picking up all regional ITVs and STVs individual data, rather than as a collective.

Banging my head a against a wall trying to work out why every run there was a batch of bad data. :head banger: :spit: (which might potentially be the reason for freezes, but further testing required)

Eventually found out why very late last night :celebrate::firewor1k:
Some international channels, namely Channel "islam channel urdu" and "iON" only have 1 entry in the programme schedule.

Which basically says no information available.

Now all the other schedules have a list of programmes in a Json list.

These 2 in particular as they only have 1 entry are not in a json list, but in a json dictionary.
With python you loop through a dictionary differently than you would a list. Hence an error being thrown.

    And it was bloody difficult to spot as a list is [ ] where as a dictionary is { }

Therefore the solution is I just need to see if the epg data is a single dictionary, if so wrap it in a list. Bleeding simple in the end. (2 days laters)
