Sorry maybe you are right. I do not remember (toroidal dish installed more than 10 years ago) but HotBird should be in the center

I live in Italy close to Milan and as you can see from attached photo the 90 toroidal dish is set on 45° as inclination (Milan latitude). I have 5 lnbs and I can tune satellites from 7E to 28.2E.
Can you set the inclination on Istanbul latitude (I think it is 41°)

Hello I confirm Nasa 4K problem on Sony Tv . No picture only audio and tv stucks and do not allow any channel change and must switched off. No problem on Hisense 4K Tv. Even on Dinobot Mini 4K receiver Nasa 4K works properly
I did upgrade from ATV7 to ATV8 and lost E2. So I went back to ATV7 by using an ATV7 image (full not normal ful reload everything normal upgrades only operating system without erasing app). So I suggest you to look for an ATV7 full file and proceed to downgrade from ATV8
wich oscam file did you load? How do you load cline? Same as OpenAtv inside oscam.server?
Please let us know how and wich files did you use to reload oscam on ATV8 and wich is procedure to enter oscam secret menu. That would be usefull to other people. Thanks

Hi I have Dinobot U5 Mini 4K and tried many times to install oscam on ATV7 without success. I have oscam very well working on Enigma2 on OpenAtv 6.3. How did you succeed to install oscam on ATV7 (I suppose you upgraded from ATV7 to ATV8)? If you can help me on understanding how to have oscam working on ATV7 I will try to upgrade to ATV8 and see if I can help you. Thanks
Hi Marfalk as I said all my chain is 4K (Dinobot - Onkyo - Sony Tv) and everything works. I can watch 4K Tv programs on Tv. Did you setup the Onkyo on HD output and the Dinobot too? Because your Tv is not 4K you do not need to output 4K from Dinobot and the Onkyo does not be configured to let passthrough the 4K. Did you try different input on Onkyo? Did you try to use the same input you use for the Panasonic dvd player? On my first use of Dinobot I did not configure anything it worked immediatelly.
I had your problem with Nvidia Shield the first time I connected to Onkyo by using a poor hdmi cable. Black picture. As soon I replaced cable with a better one I could get normal picture
Hello I have Dinobot U5 Mini 4K connected to my Onkyo TX-SR555 and it works perfectly. I have connected it to cbl/sat input by using a very good 4K compatible hdmi cable. Please try to check your cable and check if your Onkyo receiver is 4K compatible or not. Your tv is HD and not 4K so direct connection between Dinobot and Tv maybe set the Dinobot output to HD when maybe connection through Onkyo set Dinobot to 4K and if hdmi cable is poor quality stops signal transfer. First of all I would try connection with a 4K certified hdmi cable.

I have your same box and got the same problem that I could fix by following the procedure written into the attached file.
You should have Android 7.0 installed and the opening page were you can choose between Android and E2 working. When you are in those conditions you can load OpenAtv (I use this image on my box) image for your box (the file is called upgrade.zip) into usb pen and follow the procedure attached (when boot appears on the display press green button on remote plus ok until upgd appears on the display.

I could succeed in installing alternative softcam manager arm 3.0 and from there start cccam 2.3.2 but with my cline on cccam.cfg that was working good now I have freezing picture. Maybe I should try some different cccam file but it is not easy to find some working properly with Dinobot Mini. I am very disappointed that every change with some upgrade gives only troubles instead of fixing some problem. Nothing available officially from Dinobot
Hello yesterday I did some software upgrade on my OpenATV 6.2 installed on dinobot U5 Mini and after that the softcam panel has disappeared and even if I've tried many different ipk softcam nothing is loaded again. When I launch ipk installer it finds some ipk on usb pen attached but after installing the result is always nothing installed. I've tried also to put with Filezilla ipk files on temp folder and tried to install from there nothing happens. How to recover a normal situation? I had softcam panel available with cccam 2.3.2 and related cccam.cfg file. Now nothing. Please help me
It is very unclear how to upgrade U5 Mini 4K firmware. I've got advise of new firmware by OTA and tried to upgrade it seems to be successful but after reboot I get new advise of new software. I've tried by usb but after rebooting the Android robot logo is with yellow triangle and does not upgrade. It is a big mess. Please try to be more clear in the upgrade procedure. Thanks
Hi KiddaC you are my saving man. I did as you wrote and my Dinobot U5mini came back to life. I have been in trouble by following your procedure because into Misc Pref I could not get any Mac address write option but as soon as I put usb stick with Mac.txt that option appeared again. After rebooting and entering Android I went to power option and selected start E2. The unit rebooted and after initian screen entered into OpenATV 6.2. I must thankyou so muchh. I went through many many forums to get support to my problem but only you could give me the proper suggestion. I will keep your procedure as a very very important matter and I think it could be very usefull for many Dinobot users.
Now I am tuning satellites channels and everything else. I could not succeed in getting working multichannel audio before the crash of the unit. I could not get working my Onkyo receiver with Dolby TrueHD or DTS MA HD signals. I will check it.
One more question. Now that the unit seems back to operate do you suggest to move to Android 8 that is still in beta version and seems to give the E2 trouble (the E2 boot option is no more available) considering that somebody says that by using Mac.txt that problem seems to be solved?

Additional info. I could find on external HDD that I've connected to U5mini at the beginning a backup of OpenATV. Maybe this backup could be used to try to recover E2.
The folder I have is named fullbackup_dinobot4kmini and inside I have a folder named 20190330_1915. Inside a folder named dinobot. Inside a folder named U53 and inside 4 files : noforce, imageversion, kernel.bin and rootfs.tar.bz2
Well I renamed noforce file to force as you suggested. I put Dinobot folder on a usb stick and tried to upgrade (power on, green button) but no change. Still Upgd display and nothing more. Maybe I should put U53 folder on usb stick or directly all 4 files?

Another strange thing is that I cannot get Filezilla connect to U5mini from pc. I get error message about server. I am not too much familiar with Filezilla. Maybe the connection error could be related to the fact that E2 is totally missed? If this is the case how to recovery E2? The update file I have used to recovery the unit was about 800 MB and should have included both Android and E2 and the problem should be how to get E2 start again
Why do you say I am downloading a Dinobot 4K image? The image file I have downloaded are named openatv-6.3-dinobot4kmini-20190404_mmc.zip. I have allways looked for U5mini images and never for 4K model. When I wrote on above message the links you mention are the same where I downloaded my image files I would mean that I did it from OpenAtv web site
