    I did reboot the solo when DBE failed to do so but this didnt help.

    yes DBE is fine on my original 2.3 just this 204 build, will have a play with TSpanel installed.


    The thing i couldnt understand was why it had uploaded the fav's folders but the channels within still only said NA.

    Hi All


    Ok have been trying to update my solo original to 2.3 Build 204 from 2.3, image loads fine but when i try and update channel via dreambox edit the fav folders load but have t no channels within them. Have tried flipflops and catseye with the same issue.


    Also one thing i find very odd is when you hit the upload button the upload takes place but at reload stage says unable to connect to my ip on box. I know this is the right ip as flashfxp is fine connecting & confirmed within network settings.


    Also within setting on dreambox edit it if i test connection this fails on port 80, but is ok if i change to port 21, but will not connect to box in file transfer.

    *** 3d is ppv at times so will be scrambled, check channel listings to confirm if standard *** 3d or ppv 3d.


    Most of the films are ppv with most of the rest being free.



    titanic 100 years was not ppv.

  • picture freeze

    Hi all


    Have a solo running vix 2.3 which in general is great, but now and again my line may freeze and when it resumes the audio cuts back in but picture remains at the point of freeze.


    Only way to resolve this is to change change and then go back to channel you have been watching.


    Is there anyway to over come this??

  • Vu+solo vix image hd recording.

    hi all


    I have a issue with my solo recording hd channels.


    i have a 32 gig usb stick inthe rear of my box, and if i record a sd channel its fine when recording and playing back, but if i try and record a hd channel the box starts to frezze up or locks completely, with the vix osd showing.


    i have to delete the timer to bring box back.



    any help would be great.

    like m_forit said if your budget is £150 you could get a vu+ solo clone or if you have £200 you could get a original.


    The blade is ok but at £150 the epg is pants, but you can record one channel and watch one if on same transponder. if your new to this and not worried about epg the openbox is great vaule for a newbie.

    Hi chaps.


    Ok my samsung 50" has died and gone for repair, so had to bring the 32" i have in the bedroom down stairs.


    i am having a problem with the av settings, i cant get the vix menu or epg screen to fit the tv screen, have tried the settings on the tv with no joy, have played with the setting on vix menu - settings - av settings, tried changing the 4.3 from just scale to nonlinear to pan&scan & the same with the 16.9 settings.


    Tv setting only have auto - full - normal.



    is there any plugins that allow greater settings?
