Is there a ECM Monitor Plugin for the vu+ boxes ?
-
1. create a new folder on PC - call it 'vu'
2. create administrative user on PC - to keep things simple call the user 'vu' and the password 'vu'
3. share the folder : properties --> sharing --> advanced sharing --> make sure 'share this folder' is checked and click permissions --> make sure everybody has full control.
4. put any files you want to play in the vu folder. Then on your Vu+ box
1. menu > setup > system > Network > Mount Manager
2. Add a new network mount point
3. Active - yes
local share name - nas (you can call it anything you like)
mount type - CIFS share
server IP - (enter PC IP here)
server share - /vu (make sure you include the /)
username - vu
password - vuYou can then access the files by pressing the button next to the menu button and then changing location to the share name.

Have you tried pressing the up arrows or one of the coloured buttons, as the starting screen will remain there if you have no channel listed installed?

Does anyone know which service provider supports epg on 10e?
-
Yes it does turn tv over also.
But worked it out, if you leave tuner as auto, but click the tv icon on the right hand side of bouquets it just streams that channel without changing on tv.
So can watch one channel on lappy and misses can watch her soap crap on tv, or she can watch on tablet and ill watch tv, lol

Hi Guys
Is there any way of selecting which tuner you view with the web interface.

-
As above, since upgrading my duo to 2.4 from 2.3 i cant see it in windows network?
I can still see my solo on 2.3?
Have had a look in network settings with no joy.

i have great memorys of cb radio on am back in the ealry 80's, best money i ever spend.
Eye balled this young lady when i was 17 & she was 18.
31 years later we have been married for 25 years, just come back from our 2nd honey moon to new york.

to be honest i have solo original & a duo clone, and i cant see any difference in build or performance quality. Overall the duo clone is more stable both running vix 2.3 & to date i have never been able to mount any number of usb hd to my solo.
Paid £200.00 for my solo original & £ 214.00 for duo clone with 400gig hd installed.

Have you installed plug in - enigma2-plugin-cams-cccam?
-
Did you put the folder or the file within to the lib folder? & Did you reboot?
-
hi all

The blade is a good box for a newbie with all the updates done via usb, it alsos has channel updates on line with some live streams.
The only downside is poor EPG.
For the extra £50.00 i would go for a vu solo with great EPG & picons, plus great support for images and channel lists.
If you are looking for a very cheap starter box, the openbox s10/s11 is a great little box, I have had the s9 , s10 and still have a s11 in the bedroom. Again this box is very easy to setup and update via usb.
If you are a fast learner and get the bug you will soon out grow the blade and the openbox. So the above depends on your budget and learning curve.

ok well on ViX 2.2 the OpenWebif was not used ( it was not even created back then ) so unless you have installed it your self there is no need to change the HTTP port.
Sorry pheonix misread his post, thought he said he was running 2.3 build 204.
-
change HTTP PORT to 8088
-
which image are you running ?
is it VIX 2.3 build 204
-
If your runnning build 204, you will need to change the HTTP Port to 8088.
Had the same issue myself.
