All over the world 3 pm football and any other premiership game allong with a host of scotish and Championship games can be viewed very easily and legitimately. What doesnt the the EPL realise that the lifting the ban on 3pm games would be beneficial to both club and casual supporter.
Their argument is that the attendence figures would drop not only in the Prem games but also in the lower leagues as supporters would just sit at home and not travel to support their club. Frankly thats BS! No true supporter would ever miss their club playing so they could sit at home watching another match. Supporters a passionate about their clubs and it would NOT happen.

It is a pure money making model designed to push up the value of the product and increase demand for it. Lifting the blackout ban on this would cut vast amounts of piracy and IPTV theft in an instant, as it would lower prices for bidding rights and lower sub costs, as the majority of sub increases is EPL rights, hell look at BTsports currents pricing!
As long as the players want vast sums of money every week, this will continue to happen...but eventually there comes a tipping point where customers will not keep paying higher and higher prices. It just becomes economically unviable.
