  • Streaming remotely

    Couple of things


    1. I've just upgraded from a duo to a solo2 and can no longer stream remotely. I can view channels and change volume but as soon as I try to stream it black screens the box and reboots


    I can use black box on ios no problem so why does it crash my Android?


    2. I have transcoding enabled. Does this work automatically as I only see the option for port 8002 on the vu player app

  • MGCAMD 1.35a on Duo latest vix

    I have a duo on the latest vix image. i runn cccam 2.2.1 at the moment but am getting lots of freezes lately. My server guy says everything is fine his end. When i check server in vix cccam menu it says type:newcamd. do i need to use mgcamd for this? If so is there a set up guide for it cos i dont think the vix ipk comes with cfg files. Or if anyone has any ideas to help the freezing issues i would love to hear.

  • Vix image lan share

    I have an android app called esexplorer and used to be able to scan and find my duo and solo and ftp that way. I used black hole previously and have switched to vix and now neither show. Is there a setting I can change on the receiver to make them show? Thanks

    Thanks a lot mrgmx. I think the solo2 is probably more my thing considering the near difference. Regarding the streaming I have a very good upload and on my device I have lte so can't understand why it's not streaming decently

    Looking to upgrade my duo and am unsure of which box to choose.


    I only need 2 tuners and would like to have a decent stream to mobile device as duo is breaking up all the time.

    Version 0.4? Every time I start it I get black screen. Tried a couple of oe2.0 (flat lines and another) but they load by don't have all the channels from the stream xml

    Couldn't get it map to usb either while I was in Avalon universe so jumped to home and mapped to usb and reboot and stayed mapped. Mounted as hdd and rebooted and stayed as hdd. Remounted my usb to universe and everything is good again.

  • HDD problem

    It shows up in device manger but when I map it to media/hdd it says about needing a restart to finish which it does. Then it shows up in device manger after reboot as not mapped again.


    I tried doing it from telnet commands and it shows as sbd rather than sda and when I format it it finishes and I reboot and it won't show at all

  • HDD problem

    I reformatted my HDD on blackhole USB format to be used as a HDD. Its showing up and when I map it to media/hdd it reboots but doesn't stay mapped. It shows again in device manager but I remap it and same thing happens. Every time I do it I get the same problem. I was using it before but can't remember how I formatted it. Can I just format it on my computer then mount it?
