so set it up manually with "go to X" and see if it will send the motor.... what i meant by reading the support posts is that other users ,incl myself have had these problems and wrote about them....

TYou have come to the right section: VU support.
But what you have missed while writing was all the other posts by users who have asked these very same questions and other users who have answered them,
so without meaning to sound rude you really should read all the posts in SUPPORT (where you are now) and TUTORIALS (how tos )
the best way to be helped and learn is to help yourself first ;)

so put it inside the cupboard or you mean that "she doesnt understand why that thing has to be left on all night"!! out of the way??
Think ofthe odds weighed against moving server :An stb will never be as good/strong/stable as a pc server , you won´t be able to "try out new plugins, etc without disrupting service"
rebooting, when necessary will have to be programmed at/during the .am , when "she" takes over the R.C , which "she" will,
you will have lost the basic reason of what this is all about: hobby + fun!!
Now the choice is yours,,but don´t say we didn´t tell you so!!!
Muso already answered that question: Vix is the first image to try out..
readup on it all as everything has already been asked and answered a multitude of times

Start reading all the vu support posts and you´ll get a much clearer + better "picture" of it all ;)

Personally i would stick with your pc server, if your like me then you will want to try all the different images as well as upgrade to the latest as soon as they are released. Using your stb as server would mean downtime for your peers every time you want to try something new.

Totally agree with ten.. leave the duo for your own pleasure/leisure and mess around with it as much as you like without actually affecting your peers..
Looking forward to seeing those "Carmine backups" already !!!!

    From ts panel.
MENU-> TS PANEL-<OK->ADDONS->linuxsat_support_Addons->{ channel lists } and look for the most recent date ( usually sgtflipflop or catseye) -> OK to download->,then restart box.
This is the easiest method to install most addons/plugins.
With time and experience you will learn to manually install which is all well documented in VU+ support and Tutorials sections.

have you got the LATEST channel settings?? the logs are telling you to remove certain channels so tell you what..
go into menu -setup - service searching - automatic scan - :
    clear before scan : yes
    scan tuner A : yes
    then press OK to scan
Once you have this done ,check the culprits out see if they open then if you like download/install the latest settings .

run the same settings that you had before.. use dreamboxedit or dreamset.. or the IPK that you downloaded from addons .

As Vu+ use usb 2.0 only maybe you could find a HDD usb 2.0 a bit cheaper??? just a thought..

its faster switching from lnb to lnb compared to a motor moving...
¿so many?? i imagine because thats what´s out there on the eastern side of his geographical location...!!

    thanks to Sicilian

searching for info I came across this :

so this is probably worth a try.... go back to older drivers... before anything else..

first did you FULL reboot box after installing then it´s probably in MENU->SETUP->
and you might see it there as thats where its usually located on E2....although spark works a little different..

of course you have to pay for everything that you want to view!!!
oscam will permit you to view them once you have paid to view them (Pay Per View) hence the name of these channels is PPV..

    Update Version 2.9.3
