hmm,,,, think sandman asked this very Q a good while back,,then tried to merge different ones into 1 xml,,but never heard the end of the story..
you have the TV spiel plugin which gives you the german/austrian ,,as for the rest depends on the sat its on I reckon,,..
have never been too bothered about epgs either to be honest..

Another part of the story is that dependin on which soft you use to read ram,flash ,etc, you get different readings which I have seen a few times,,,
Your case reminded me of something else , after changing images several times you will notice( or not) that the boot logo at first is from the previous image.
certain things seem to stay in caché even after flashing the new image.which also takes up memory.. in this case I reflash with an original vu+ image ( rev 7.0)
then flash on whichever image I would like to try..in BH images ,pressing BLUE-YELLOW you will see how much an image consumes ,etc,then whilst there ,
red:memory
green:space
yellow :cpu
blue: process
as I say this is only an estimated reading and not always exactly true..
If you have a usb lying around ,plug+ mount (if neccessary) it in and use the FORCE SWAP to reduce RAM vu+duo which is on the addons..
try this out and se if it helps the image from freezing..

Here´s a suggestion : readup all the how to´s regarding VU Vu Original Tutorials
then after that readup on the e2 plugins : Enigma2 Plugins
Then finally radup on the support section (where we are now: Vu Support Section )
then that should give you a better idea of capabilites

possibly in softcams inside KEYS folder..not sure of the route..

I have tried without .png with png , etc..all resulting in greenscreens on BH 176..

@ allivnotsa .. trace back through this thread and you will find an IPk that gives you tv shows too!!!

You are using BH image so IPK_ALL verions should be used ONLY!!!!

I have just tried this latest and got greenscreen also!!
So my suggestion would be go into TSPANEL uninstall 1channel package then FULL REBOOT then install previous working version which you had
until somebody comes up with a solution...
That´s what I have just had to do also on BH 1.7.6
