    apart from this info already posted on the forum, if you look at a "full .cfg" you´ll see all the options:

  • DM800HD clone wont stay in standby

    two things occur to me : somebody is viewing through your webtv ,,its not a joke, so make sure everything (ports,passes) is shutdown tight...
    ¿ have you got Cron setup?? ¿are you using internet ( .url) or a sat for updating the time??
    although you say you "think you´ve tried another image,,,do it,,change to a clean image(not a backup) and see if it makes a difference.
    just occured to me ¿anyone in the home getting up for a "nightcap" ??

    ¿ are you using the multiquickbutton??? ¿ did you manage to allocate the RED ??
    Although I did as you with reinstalling backup ,etc,,and checking that everything is in place via FTP/dcc ,etc ,
    still get the message: no multiquick red.xl mapped.. so i manually reinstalled and still getting same message..
    strange indeed ,I´m sure there is something I have overlooked, although been through it over and over again...

    Thanks for clearing that up... I dont share with anyone over the internet so there is no way someone could get into my server
    ¿have you read my link above?? read it carefully and check as theres no logical explanation that somebody would give you access to other servers..
    the typical hack is that they "plant" a couple of Flines to feed from your server/card..
    My advice would be copy/save the "friends clines" and completely reflash the box with a clean image,change to a new host and passwords,close all ports and take all the usuall necessary steps as you have not just put your own server at risk but your "friends"....

    Is it connected to the internet or not????? you say you dont share but you havent specified if it´s connected or not..

    steal clines??? somebody apart from yourself would have to know your info ; host ,IP , otherwise not possible..
    and LESS THAN POSSIBLE if you dont even connect over the internet!!!! I imagine that you took all the obvious necessary security measures beforehand'??
    and then you made a backup of your .cfg after getting it working ??
    so the clines you mention would be internal clients/servers in the rest of the house??
    question . ¿ can you still access your .cfg?? if so ,,,¿what else is missing/altered from your cfg ??the reason being that sometimes ,the .cfg goes A.W.O.L. meaning that DCC doesnt connect right therefore you can´t see it..

    roble -- there eally is no need to eliminate any of them..if you setup the swapfile on a usb as Master G pointed out earlier: (Blue > Blue > Swap file settings > Green/Create > choose 256 M > Save > Red/Activate > Yellow/Autostart ) then you will have plenty of space ,especially as you have so many/few(depending on how you look at it)

    Well ,glad I saw this post revived!!
    The USB stick you have ,although flashed in FAT32 just won´t "start" or "boot" and the reason why is simply because the VU+ won´t recognise it until you either reformat it from the box itself OR you simply use another USB..
    Like you I went into the early hours of this morning with exactly the same symptoms with a USBstick 2gbs..
    unfortunately I only had one other USB (4gbs) which I had my backup settings ,etc, so had no other choice but to use it.
    I reformatted the 4gbs(losing all my settings) loaded on the image ( I use BH for the moment) and started from 0
    as if I had just taken the vu out of its packaging.
    It took the image straight away and I proceeded to reload everything again!!
    I never imagined that it could have been the usb 2gbs not being "capable".
    Now I use this 2gbs as the usb/media for epg ,picons ,etc after reformatting and mounting it in the vu.
    Another point is make sure there is no other USB connected to the box when reflashing(I have a DTT penstick connected on other usb rear)
    Lesson learned and hopefully will help you too!!

    blocking out a complete platform :
    if you look in PROVIDORS (cs studio or CCcaminfo or webinfo or whatever you use ) you will see the CAID:PLATFORM
    For example: 500 : fff830 Ident-Card | 41700 V4-Xdream TV (13E) | 41710 V4-Xdream TV (13E)(id not use)
    so you put { 0500:417000:0 } as explained in other posts,, this will block the platform.


    Another way would be the PRIO(it is usually in /etc just under cccam.cfg:
    or you can add it yourself in CCcam.cfg(if you have the full .cfg you will see where to add the lines):
    in prio you add/convert
    I: 0500:417000 #Xdream TV (13E)
    I: 0647:000000 #Redlight HD/Hustler HD (13E)
    I: 0500:043800 #SCT/Redlight HD (13E)
    I: 0500:041700 #Redlight New Elite (13E/5W/12W)
    I: 0500:042200 #RDolly Buster (13E)
    I: 0500:032500 #Private Spice (13E)
    I = IGNORE
    P: PRIORITY


    Another way to block them for yor viewing would be in GLOBAL LIMITS in your .cfg:
    GLOBAL LIMITS : { 0500:417000, 0647:000000, etc }#
    This will block them from your viewing but will still be passed on to your peers.


    I´m sure there are other ways ,,but these are what come to mind at the moment of posting.

    Its called education!! Unless one is trying to "tot up" one´s posts count there really is no need to ask or respond to something that has already been asked and answered and POSTED IN THE SAME SECTION !!!
    As for experience, spoonfeeding a child only makes them fat, it doesnt actually help them to help themselves in the long run !!
