If you knew his details of IP, box user + password and he had an open port...then yes it might be..
otherwise just go around to his house or let him bring it around to yours..

menu-plugins-In cooltvguide plugin -press yellow( TV) look down the list : "start cooltv guide with RED button" , etc..
remember to press red when you are finished to save your config.. -

Black Hole 2.0.5 is latest image on this board which will work. Later images don't seem to work on clone boxes.
More importantly is that there is no support for Vu+ clones on this site anymore buddy as you already know from reading the site rules.... -
I will give the Back up by Master G a go if I can download it but I prefer to play around with the software and get to know what im doing.
Its a bit more complicated than I imagined but hopefully I will get my head around it.
Read carefully the complete thread about master G´s backup ( especially about passwords etc)
and you will already have most decent plugins ,etc preloaded..
Just until you get the feel of how/why/what it runs
You will also need Dreambox Control Centre ( DCC) to communicate with the internal runnings of the box from your pc.
And also CS Studio on your pc to keep track of uptime/shares/local card ,etc .... -

By using one of these team backups you will only have to add your own personal configuration8 with your own personal info) to oscam -
It all depends on which card you want to be able to emulate in hte duo2..
if its the UK card you need oscam ot work best, if it´s MTV or the likes ,it will work in CCcam alone.
You can also have the best of both worlds using Oscam+CCcam...

For wetek you have kodi 14.0 and openelec 14.1..
if it doesn´t run as smooth or as good as before then its usually down to a change of skin or an added repository or Addon..(just like an e2 image) -
yes they can, you only need to start reading the iptv section and how to add them either to your channel list or inside ts media..

The very same thing happened to my sd card ...
What I did was made a backup, copied it to my desktop,
used openelec installer (which will automatically download the latest version from the net.) onto the sd card
and once loaded 5.0.8 on to the wetek play ( afterupgrading the latest wetek image build)
then ftp transferred my backup through winscp back onto the box in /storage/backup and restored..
got a nice fast(er than before) box now.. -
or stop using Internet explorer...
Chrome + firefox users dont have this problem.. -

It depends on what characteristics you are looking for..
I have fbox which I wouldnt recommend as it doesnt have a tuner..
Wetek ( check out the wetek sponsors site and the wetek section on this site..)
is doing the business and constantly work in progress and 100% support...
cant find any major fault with it and I´m sure a lot of users will agree..
