You never mentioned which image/version and plugins you are using for the benefit of others..

Also depends on which server you download epg from...
never had a problem with opentv for ire/uk channels

from a youtube video I have been able to see the options of the built-in channel manager.
Channel Editing features-Remove,Lock,Skip,Move,Rename..

i imagine if you have teh right frequencies/setup you should be able to recieve FTA channels..
to open any ppv you need a sub card or a friend with one after installing the relevant emulator protocol

in usals you need to use your long + lat...
If you are longitude is -3.xxx for example, then it should be WEST ( maybe you have it East)

Sounds like a right headache and not fun at all.. so.. get in touch with the seller and send it back ..
but as Toothfairy has already stated ,I reckon it´s a great little box as I can only compare it to my original Fbox...

On the Fbox , you simply download the rar file,send it on to a usb stick,making sure the stick is in the right format and the firmware is still in rar format.
Then upgrade...
it´s a pity it isn´t working out for you..

to add , not sure about other boxes but fbox is wireless not LAN..

Older image version backups are not compatible with the new BH 2.1.4.
You need to give more information, box, image version,,etc..

If you don´t get anything in A then it begs the question ..have you got two cables running from lnb to both tuners?
Why have you got B as the main tuner?
i would have set A up first then B..
Have you tried all the config modes?? i.e: " B equal to A " ??

No, it´s normal to see the message no bootmanager is the norm,as I recall from years ago..
If it´s still "hit and miss" then I would check all connections from lnb to box...and dish orientation..
