the equivalent of slingplayer for e2 would probably be IPTV player..
You could set up your own server ( intial setup is ardous) and send streams to them but then they need either an android box or e2 box to recieve...
Solo2 doesn´t have plugnplay tuners so any cable tuner would have to be through usb.. -
thanks to you both for yur reply i tried both options there and it still the same no signal on the channels apart from the one i received on the origional scan
As its only a few days old , return it to buyer, demand your money back and save up for an original box..
The expression,, cheap becomes more expensive comes to mind, apart from the headaches,etc...
And do yourself a favour and pass by introductions after reading the site rules..

to cardshare you need a server and a card.
There is only one port needed ot be opened in the router.
You can only connect to your host ( DNS ) from outside your network .
To connect within your network you use the IP you have assigned,i.e : 192.168.1.110
or whichever last digit(s) you have assigned then in your browser type : 192.168.1.110:16001
it should ask for your user ( root) and password to access. -
if your box has no password you dont have to enter it in vucc , for example blackhole image has no password by default so then password in vucc would be blank .however if you recieved the box with blackhole installed it may be possible that the installer set a password , especially if the box came with a gift , if so contact the supplier about the password .
double check in network setup that the ip you entered in vucc is the correct ip of your box .

The STB was purchased from our sponsor: WOS. so not a chance of any "gift" from some dodgy fleabayer..
If all network is showing green then it has DHCP on..
I suggest untick this on the stb then manually assign an IP, i.e: 192.168.1.110
restart the STB.
then set this same IP in VUCC and it will connect.
to change password:
In telnet type passwd press return
enter required password press return
enter required password again press return
password now set.
reastart stb.
The only port that needs to be opened in router is whichever you assign to the STB to communicate out to your peers.

all lines come from some server.
you need to do likewise.. -
maybe the confiog , but you have to add your own with your own info about card ,lines,etc..

If you were cardsharing your local card with another peer then the peer would return theirs too..
